That's the wonderful thing about Nintendo, Nintendo has never been known to be for power except back in the SNES days, they have lower and weaker hardware sure but they are creative as hell....if you care about graphics and power then xbox or playstation will be your best choices.....however I am a firm believer that graphics don't make a game and Nintendo has proven that countless times which is why I love their products, they like to be creative, they like to experiment and bring new things to the table while PS and XBOX only care about graphics and gameplay comes second to them....

The Ring-Con is just a Pilates Ring, just with a place to insert a Joycon. Normal Pilates Rings go from 20 to 40 dollars depending on what it’s made of, so this Ring-Con may be made with rubber and flexible metal. It’d be hard to break, and you aren’t supposed to play that hard with it. The ring isn’t made for building strength, just staying fit. :)

Your local Goodwill probably has at least three balance boards sitting around unsold for $10 a pop, and Wii Fit's disc is like.. probably like a dollar. And honestly, you'll get $11 worth of fun out of it, but it's very sparse on content and you'll get bored fast. It's not a very good workout solution. Dance Dance Revolution worked much better for me, but you have to get, like, REALLY into that game and eventually buy a $300 hard pad and build yourself up to playing the expert-level songs. It's a lot of fun but just doesn't click with everyone.

I like that Nintendo likes trying new things and plays with different ideas. Its what keeps them fresh and when something stick, it sticks in a big way, and other companies rush to try to catch up and cash in on it. Personally, i kinda want them to bring the balance board back. Maybe improve it by making it larger (and fold-able to save space when not in use), and a new Punch-Out! Game :)

There is a difference between trying something and forcing it, I'd be okay if it didn't force things and ruin games. (A damaged sensor bar or slight imbalance can ruin a control, same with some anxiety based issues or bodily injuries.) If they give people an option things will be perfect, everyone wins.

Another point about these paripheral titles is it gives Nintendo a chance to do large scale trials of new technology that might be incorporated into future titles or even future technology that's more complex. Nintendo loves to push their hardware in new directions and flex their creativity which can result in some really well developed concepts that expand what video games are capable of. While it's natural for most games companies to keep pushing performance and graphics (which is certainly important in its own way) I think it's really smart for Nintendo to sometimes take the road less traveled to beat the competition to new frontiers, and bring us some really cool new games to play with in the process! I personally love this idea and look forward to trying it out💖

Home exercising, yoga and being healthy are trendy at the moment. So I think this can be a success. People love to log what exercises they did, how they performed and they love getting awarded for what they did. This can deliver both. What I cant comprehend though is that they did the same thing with sans in smash, they announced it after the direct, that means less people will know about it, it is also coming out soon as well, which means there wont be much time for the word to spread. Does Nintendo want their games to sell adequately? hey, at least we know their big Christmas concept. :)

Also, the no national dex thing is only a problem in the first place thanks to the lack of communication from Game Freak and the fact that the game looks pretty bad for a 60$ game, SPECIALLY the pokemon. Lastly, Masuda did mention new animations between the things you quoted. It's just that people (compreensively) hyperbolized it.

FYI, the ring is called a pilates ring. Its basically used to help you with your posture and form for certain exercises, and sorta functions as a resistance band, though that's not its main purpose.

The Nintendo switch itself was the best fitness accessory I have ever purchased. I use a gooseneck tablet holder that I attach to my treadmill and I get my 10,000 steps a day while playing my favorite switch games with the joy cons in each hand and the switch screen fixed in place by the tablet holder. Getting my steps used to be such a chore.

Yes don't buy it... as it is eventually required to play a game... a game that doesn't need it but it is required for. As Nintendo has always done... that often turns out to be an obstruction to an otherwise good game... As Nintendo has always done... hence why people are mad, because it is the same cycle and they are sick of it

With every video, Arlo's intro sound becomes progressively unsettling. One day it's "woo!", today it's "You're wrong!". Next it will be "Help!" and down the line it might be downright scary. What if by the end of this or next year we see that it has all been leading up to something: An easter egg nobody expected... Or possibly the ballad of a man slowly being broken from the inside out... Jk however-something to take note of

Something that I really want to see is for this to have a roguelike mode. Eventually going through an RPG you’d run out of content and move on, but a roguelike where everything’s different each time you go through would probably keep me playing for the rest of the Switch’s lifecycle, if not longer. It’d be really neat to focus on a different build each time, so you’d get a ‘leg exercise’ build and get a day to focus on those, and the next day you might get an abs build instead.

I remember a game of Kinnect about Star Wars that was an adventure and all the movements were basically exercises, but this game looks somewhat better, and also very honest on what it is (the Star Wars game tried to hide that was a fitness game, and I started to notice it once I was already playing).
