Does the keypad light up so you can see the keys in the dark?

Trent Young yes it has a Motion sensor If you don't want it to light up when you walk by it you can switch it to Power saving mode

@@theproductreviewer9661 I realized I had power save mode on. I turned it off and the motion sensor now works. Ring since then removed the power save option for the 2nd gen keypad and now you have three options under the LED settings: one where the mode button stays lit when plugged in, one where the light turns on with motion (previous setting with power save off) and one where the lights turn on by pressing any button (previous power save mode).

The keypad communicates via Z-Wave, not Wi-Fi.

It was like 6 months before it came out I know I was just excited to see it so I thought other people would be to that didn't want to wait another 6 months I wasn't exactly Happy that I had to return either
