Honestly think they should start a trend where if you're going to propose to your partner or get married that you should have a proper ring for the proposal / wedding. Like let's say someone were to propose to me under a waterfall and there's a chance they might drop the ring instead of bringing this really expensive ring they should bring a prop ring so let's say with a $20 ring from Amazon. And then after they propose and you're not under the waterfall anymore and you're on flat ground give them the real ring. I see all these amazing extravagant proposals but the only stupid thing they do every time is think it's a good idea to propose with an expensive ring in a beautiful location where there's a chance they could drop it. I've been engaged before and when I was my ex fiance thought it would be a great idea to propose to me while we were standing in the ocean in Florida and almost dropped the ring in the water and it literally slipped and I caught it. She was almost in hysterics for a minute because that ring was also a family heirloom that had been passed down to like four generations period again another reason why you should have a prop ring
