Ring Them Bells- Bob Dylan Gourd Banjo Cover

Ring them bells! This is such a lovely song, and I think it goes so well with this banjo. It was fun to take a song I'd done with a group and steal the parts I liked from our group arrangement to make a solo version. Like I said, I might polish this up and solidify some things and then re-record it, but it turned out waay better than I thought it would!

My shed remodel is coming along pretty well so far; I'm excited to give yall a tour once its all finished! I think sitting on the empty floor right next to a bunch of banjos may have been a bad choice audio-wise though, because it sounded reaaaaly echo-y to me when listening back to it. Also somehow the lighting made the dark circles under my eyes 10 times more noticeable. Thanks a lot, window. I'll be glad when I finally get my shed optimized as a filming space and don't have to worry about the lighting every time I film!

I thought the Gourd banjo was more novelty than practical (sorry)-until now. You caught the acoustics well, and the sound really came through. I kept my eyes closed and just let the sound play through. It really is a beautiful sounding instrument. I'm currently rearranging my space, too, so the second time through, I let it play as I organized. woot woot to tiny spaces getting makeovers lol.
