What a stunning arrangement of this holiday classic. Anyone else think Emanuel's slight delay up to the F at 4:14 was intentional? Either way, It's probably my favourite moment - incredibly emotional and extremely musical 👍

Absolutely intentional. It takes immense talent to carry that off and make it feel right.

Skicka länken till Janne (Sandström), han lär älska denna vackra version! Har sjungit hans a cappella-arr så många gånger, och det finns väl flera versioner av den också vill jag minnas. Hur solokvartetten blendas in i storkörens klang är magiskt!

Never heard that before but it is a very interesting piece. The bass is wonderful (as is each part 😉)

This is just wonderful, also on your album "Ringmasters III" if I remember correctly. I've sang the classic version numerous times but Jan's arrangement is a whole layer more complex - and beautiful.

Before watching this ive only heard this.done a cappella. Gotta say, i do prefer it that way, this just doesnt give me nearly the same chills, but it is beautiful

okay I'm not usually the "tHis iSnT baRbErShoP" guy but in this case, you know, it's pretty far away from barbershop haha. It's something else that's absolutely beautiful though :D

While Ringmasters are known for barbershop this certainly isn't. They've done a wonderful job of bringing Swedish choir pieces and arrangements to an international audience which brings me so much joy. You don't need to understand the words to feel the piece, even though lyrics obviously bring a deeper context. Their version of Kung Liljekonvalj live in Japan is another fantastic example.

I really hope this makes it into a movie score someday. I don't think it even has to be remixed to work.

amazing! were there more voices in the album version?

In the album version, we did the a cappella-arrangement. Yes about 12-15 parts in total.
