Ringo and Paul did the Beatle bow at the end. That's the cool way the Beatles always ended their concerts.

We are just so lucky to live in the time of Paul and Ringo. It breaks my heart to know that in another 20 years we'll probably only see tributes to them, but never the real thing. Treasure this time with them while we've got them. If you ever have a chance to see either of them in concert, GO. Sell your firstborn if you have to. Both are phenomenal entertainers and nothing beats actually breathing the same air and being in the aura of these guys. Best concerts ever.

Ringo and Paul, playing together again on the same stage--Cleveland's Public Hall--they had last played on FIFTY ONE years earlier, in August 1964. This song "I Get By With A Little Help From My Friends" probably reminds them of happier times when they were the Beatles. They wrote this song (Lennon/McCartney) specifically for Ringo Starr because he almost never sang (and he needed help). It makes me happy to see them actually get on stage together again (McCartney/Starr) no matter how brief. I forgot Billy Joe Armstrong played along and that was the year Green Day was inducted in the Hall of Fame.

Joe Walsh is so original, bold, fearless and talented beyond compare. Him and his guitar are a single unit that produces a unique sound all his own. Joe, like Ringo, is just one helluva a nice guy. Love these guys!

Joe Walsh is Ringo's brother in-law. He's married to Ringo's wife's sister.

But I'll note that my goo-goo eyed awe for Joe has evaporated since lately he's decided to use his celebrity to express personal political bents. That's disgusting and shameful, and every celebrity that does that can eff themselves with a dull razor. Paul M would NEVER do something so foolish and suicidal to his popular adulation. WTF, Joe? Did you not get the memo that celebrities going political turn worshiping adulation into despising hatred? It's s--tting on your fans and friends, and betraying their fondness. F you, Joe - you, and each and every celebrity that goes political.
