When Stephen said “That’s it” about Ringo’s five-word answer to the last question, Ringo thought it meant “That’s the end of the interview”. I think that’s why he bade Stephen farewell right after finishing his Spike Milligan story.

His thing about cows sounded "cheesy," so I looked it up. He's right. Goats milk fat globules are, on average, 4.655 microns in diameter, and can be as small as 0.73 microns, while cow fat globules are an average of 8.335 microns, and can be as big as 15.75 microns. "Smaller globule sizes have more surface area exposed. Because of a larger surface area on smaller particles, they are disintegrated into smaller pieces by enzymes in the stomach which make it easier for the body to absorb it during digestion." I just learned something cool and scientific from Ringo Starr. That is a sentence I never thought I would write. 😎✌️

Everything about “Come Together”; John’s singing/VOICE, Ringo’s DRUMMING, Paul’s iconic Bassline, George’s classic minimalist solo with just the perfect TONE, John’s words/flow and delivery almost like Hip Hop in the 60s, George Martin’s production... it truly is the ultimate Beatles song where every individual member shines and the whole is greater than the sum of its parts

Come together was originally a faster song .Paul suggested to John about slowing it down making it a little more funky..Ringo's drums. .Paul's amazing baselines...the harmonies and wordplay...George's smooth slide...great record although one I'd pick is Don't let Me Down. A total knockout

A band can only produce a song like that if they all know and trust each other really well. The music was composed organically with all members contributing equally. Naturally Lennon lead though. I think that's the main reason why Ringo likes it so much.

I'm kind of loving this questionnaire bit. The contrast between him and John Oliver is just outstanding. Ringo is so straightforward and so.. I don't know if it's confident in his answers or if simply doesn't care if this is the best answer he could give or just the first one that comes to mind. Also him talking about how he never gets rid of anything immediately reminded me of that Simpsons episode where he answers Marge's fan mail 30 years later.

Ringo is correct. The fat molecules in cow's milk are much larger than that of goat's milk. A lot of people have trouble digesting cow's milk for this reason (and other reasons such as the difference in protein structure).

So back before we were signed or had videos or anything - we'd just had a gig at some little club in LA (Club 88 maybe? The Londoner? Madame Wong's?) and we went to Cantor's for a late night snack. Andy Gibb was sitting at a nearby table with some friends and people kept coming up to him for his autograph. Steve Barton went over to the table, Andy looked up expectantly and Steve said "Do you want my autograph?" Andy cracked up and said "sure" and so Steve signed his menu. The rest of his friends said "me too!" so Steve signed their menus as well. A good laugh all around.
