I don't know why radio missed this. This has hit written all over it. And it would have been huge.
@Weztex Жыл бұрын
Commercial radio barely choose what they are playing anymore. Music labels have record promoters doing heavy networking with media companies owning hundreds of stations. Major labels are working hard to get songs in the-40, and radio will often fall back on what's trending at the moment. Not to mention some promoters still using payolas to get songs in rotations even if it's illegal. So whatever label gets the deepest pockets and ressources gets the most airplay. It's been that way for decades.

This is really an unofficial Beatles song then. You have Ringo and Paul, that's two Beatles, one more Beatle than on about 7 or 8 official Beatles songs from the 60s. Yesterday, For No One, Julia, Blackbird, Within Without You to name a few. In fact, Ringo and Paul were the only Beatles on the track, "Why Don't We Do It In The Road" from the White Album. If they want it to be Beatles, then it's Beatles.

Knowing that John intended this song to be specifically sung by his bandmate Ringo speaks volumes about their mutual respect and talent as music craftmen. Also, since John has always been labeled as an atheist I find that to be contradicting, regarding his reference to God in these lyrics, as well as in Beautiful Boy when he asks Sean to say a prayer. In spite of all that, as a Christian I pray that John has found peace in eternity besides a God who loves us all. Can not imagine it to be any other way, a man with such inspiration desrves nothing less. God bless you, John, both Georges, and, of course, Paul and Ringo, and Blessings to all Beatle collaborators and fans from my home at San Juan, Puerto Rico.

I wrote before I was disappointed...expecting to listen to Paul's voice with yours...expecting to listen to Here comes the sun,..and as I could not, ( my fault for sure) I was sort of sad...I am not too fond of this song that I have already listened in John's voice on youtube. But because I felt I had to listen again and again looking for sounds people listen and I don't I discovered it grows...And now I just love it. Your voice is great, man. God bless you, god bless George, God bless Paul, God bless John, God Bless the Beatles...( They are back in this song). God bless us all! Wow...Thank you Ringo!

The bass guitar part has Paul's signature all over it. Very beautiful song.

John would be very happy, I think. Just a shame I can't really hear Paul. He's supposedly on this track.

JPM is not in this song. This is "Sir Paul" (William/Billy Shears/Bill). Ringo is the last real Beatle alive.

@@olskzeri2723 Regardless of whether it's real Paul or Faul (not something I'd like to discuss), I cannot hear him in the backing.

@@TheHylianBatman I didn't use the word "Faul", you did to dumb this down. It IS "Sir Paul" since JPM is gone. You prefer to live with your eyes closed. It is not like i tried to challenge you. This is a pretty good cover by Ringo and Billy.
