I think Isildur was in the burning building. The queen was trying to go back into the building when firey coals fell down into her face, recoiling from that she stepped backwards out of the building. Isildur was still inside, trying to hold a beam up the last we see him.

That horse wasn't just attached to Isildur because he looked after him, but because it was actually Isildur's horse, Berek.

1. After the creation of the Rings of Power, Sauron attacks the Elves of Eregion and Dwarves of Khazadum. Sauron was winning the war until Numenor came to push him back. 2. Bronwyn mentioned the Southlanders heading to Pelagir. Since Pelagir is part of Gondor, the Faithful Numenoreans and Southlanders will become the future people of Gondor. 3. Similar to the events of the non-canon game Shadow of War, Adar and his orc legions might fight against Sauron and his orc legions for control over Mordor. 4. I think Isildur's horse will find Isildur and he will join the rest of the Southlanders in Pelagir, becoming one of the Southlander leaders and learning the lands that will be Gondor.

Isildur's friend was the one that saved the King. Isildur was inside when it collapsed and presumed dead. The horse is gonna find him and bring him back, like Aragorn in two towers.

It is so refreshing to see people enjoy this show to contrast all of the haters that want to nitpick every little thing about this show and say it's absolute garbage. Not saying people can't have their own opinions on the show but so many have hated this show before they even released any footage. I'm loving the show, even if it's not 100% accurate to the lore. I was happy to just be back in Middle-Earth again but it's been so much more than that to me. I'm dreading having to wait for a second season.

I've enjoyed some terrible fantasy shows over the years. [Xena, Legend of thee Seeker] maybe I would have liked this if it wasn't Tolkien. As it is every time I suspend one disbelief they force another on me. Nitpicks compound and pressurize into a nitpick eruption.

@@torontomame Tolkien is the gold standard for the fantasy genre. It sets a high bar. Too high for a modern creators and maybe even modern audiences.

Saruman, Gandalf, and Radagast all arrive together. The Blue Wizards come to Middle Earth much earlier, and they are supposed to help fight against the rise Sauron in the East. The three females in white are from the East, and it looks like they're hunting the Stranger, so they are probably servants of Sauron.

Mithril is never listed in any Tolkien writings I know to be related to the Silmarils. I think Amazon show just made it up in a way they thought would be in the spirit of the lore because they needed a way to compress thousands of years of the 2nd age into a TV show. So everything is accelerated and they needed a reason for the Elves to desperately need to forge the Rings of Power. Why they had to toss in mithril as part of the solution is beyond me, and perhaps my theory is wrong and this is just something totally different,

Nenya, Galadriel's ring, was made of mithril, so they seem to have got the idea from that.

Alas this show is revealing it has neither Tolkien nor ROP in it, "Auta i lóme" and " Aurë entuluva," have you fallen to rings of power? With the showrunner's now declaring in their most recent article that phans who oppose the show are evil, despite what these remaining episodes bring, is now redundant, for their arrogance is forged in ROP. We invite all to discover our "Exsurge Tolkien" and have a counter perspective to ROP and discover how it is full of heresy and hubris. The heresy of hubris is the most damning, for it is the single vice that binds all the persons developing The Rings of Power to the supremacy of a will that is Anti-Tolkien, ironically leading the very destruction of the beloved treasure the "Theyocracy" of the machine claims to cherish. The showrunner's design for ROP aligns with the mortal sin that fundamentally changes the craft of Professor Tolkien's Canon and the spectacular secondary world, as Melkor enslaved, corrupted, and broke the firstborn children of Iluvatar, the elves.

Really have not been enjoying this show. It has no dramatic weight, characters feel paper thin, nothing feels earned and very little has felt like it’s happened. I think I’m out after this season ends, which is a bummer.
