I constantly marvel at the ability of our horses to learn and accept all forms of travel, and to understand the routine of flying, and so for most of them, to remain calm and unstressed!

There's a program that changes your IP so you can watch it live from another country of your choice. That's what I did because I was told to spend fifty dollars a month on cable or suck it up. It REALLY helps. ^^ Just for next time.

What do they do about ear-popping? (altitude changes in planes can be *painful*) I hate my ears popping, and I get it just driving around the valley (SLC, Ut). I can only imagine what it's like for them, they have more sensitive ears! Not trying to bash, simply an honest question. :)

Don't horses get anxious during the flight? Especially when the plane starts to get higher? Or when it's landing? The pressure changes constantly...humans understand what's going on but horses don't and since it's very unnatural situation for them, how come they stay calm?
@hannahbrs29346 жыл бұрын
They rarely do. Sporthorses are often familiar with trailers and airplanes, so they tend to stay calm. Some horses are given a shot to calm them down before takeoff though. It's unnatural, but it is necessary to transport them from a to b.

To make them behave and to have an advantage over them when leading. You NEVER put under their jaw(bottom of bridge of nose by their lower lip) because that can cause dental issues and really hurt them.

We knew they use a special cabin for a horse transportation, so it is something we never had and now see here everyday grazing the grass. But basically this should be your problem caring about getting all the hay for winter and forgetting the education. Cops came and arrested me - so it was his name. This everyday job was all your source of magical Karazhan power. This stable is prospering and you most likely living as it's past and can watch how powerful rearing horse can be. So these now are modern not sinking soil vehicles with two tires mounted on same axis.

Poor horses look so hurt. Young, drugged, and at dangerous speeds. A tie down, and a bit in their mouth. Cropped, and spurred. But this place is.. Different. Yes I still see a horrific bit, but they look not drugged, and they look exercised, they don't look like any flies or anything Are irritating them, they get comfort in the truck, they get a resting station. I just wish more places would treat animals right..

Okay, why would you need to put them on cross ties, in a stall? Come on people at least give the horses a little freedom? -,-
@susanreneecastellano10686 жыл бұрын
BuckSkin_Baby it’s to help the horse stabilize itself as the plane flies, it gives them something to lean on to help keep themselves in balance, if they weren’t more than likely during turbulence etc they could get extremely (and expensively) hurt, the cross ties don’t seem excessively high up, Its just something to lean on, the same way we tie horses in a trailer to help stabilize, they are probably walked around a heck of a lot and get liniment on after the flight to help loosen their joints and muscles :).
