How do I say thank you for finding Father Aimilianos. Father Aimilianos was this incredibly Holy manw whose every pore of his being exudes holiness and divine love which transports you towards another dimension. He is a joy to behold. Amen and Amen. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🌈🌈🌈🌈

Father Aimilianos, our beloved elder from our favorite monastery on Mount Athos! My husband and I have read his article about marriage numerous times before and after we got married and it has been a beautiful guidance for us! And now we are reading his explanation of the Psalms, ..it is so deep and rich that many times we read things over again. It was revealed to another elder about elder Aimilianos that he was the second ‘Joseph’ (the Hesychast) Thank you Father Josiah for this video and for honoring this blessed Elder. May his memory be eternal.... As some Christians have dismissed the validity of monastic life based on their perceptions of specific monastics, I have known many "non-believers" (non-confessors) who dismiss Christ based on their experiences of us Christians -- Lord, have mercy on us all! 😌

Christ is Risen! Fr. are you actively advocating for the Antiochian church in America to have a monastic presence? I've always found it odd that the Antiochian jurisdiction in America has no monasteries.

If you have 70 Orthodox monasteries in the US and think it's too bad, imagine what is like to live in Brazil, where we only have TWO monasteries in the whole country, which one with only two monks. You have no idea of how blessed you (still) are in the US.
