A very good speech, clearly indicating all usual errors about the Jesus prayer. To me one of the best spiritual writers on the subject (after the great Greek classics) is Saint Theophanes the Recluse, because of his wide and profound knowledge of the Greek Fathers and his literary talent.

It might be a translation issue. He says 'man' in the broader sense, includes women too, a human being of either sex.

He says anthropos (greek for human) not anir/andras (greek for man). This is a western translation, don't project.
