rimuru and masayuki's interaction was basically "plot armor" vs "PLOT ARMOR" , fake mc vs actual mc. masayuki's ability allows him to befriend his enemies but in this episode rimuru was able to lead him around and gain his trust instead. the real difference between having the ability and being the real deal.

In Japanese, when a friend is leaving, you just say "jah" or "jah ne" in context they might see again. When you say "Sayonara" in it means you will never see each other again. The fact that Rimuru said "Sayonara" to Gobta and Ranga had me laughing. Ranga was so cute too.

this isn't as apparent in the anime, but Rimuru doesn't fully understand the significance of Diablo being primordial yet. it was more obvious how clueless to what the Empress ACTUALLY meant in the novels, but yeah, if you remember, Diablo forced himself into the summoning. He wasn't specifically summoned, so Rimuru doesn't actually know how big a deal Diablo is

It´s one of the few things that really annoy me. Don´t get me wrong, I still get a good chuckle out of the situations, but he *really* should ask Raphael to explain. I mean, it´s not even that he simply doesn´t know Diablo is special, he wilfully ignores it and pushes the issue back. And of course, it (mostly) works out, exactly because he has that unexpected(ignorant) reaction.

The training with Milim will be much much harsher then the one they had with Hakuro. The fusion skil is very useful and Gobta manages to fully use it he will be a power house.

To be clear, in case anyone had any doubt, Gobta completely missing Masayuki and hitting the wall had nothing to do with Masayuki's special ability... It was just Gobta being Gobta 😅😅 I'm glad that Rimuru and Masayuki got to clear the air. We knew if anyone was gonna understand that Masayuki this entire time was just being thrown into situations he didn't wanna be involved in, it would be our boy Rimuru 😊

See this is why comedic character’s luck is scary. Fate can make you extremely lucky but will drop you for comedic purposes. Funnily enough, Masayuki and Gobta’s luck probably overlap to create the sceneraio where Masayuki technically wins and Gobta managed to ruin his performance but still win by default.

Nothing bonds to to people then their love for a hobby and food. Masayuki is simple guy and just want peaceful life but his skill put him spotlight. Glad that both him and Rimuru become good buddies.

Welp gobta fumbled the bag and paid for it, may he survive and get stronger. As for masayuki I’m glad he finally has someone who can help him, I was just saying “just forfeit!” When I saw gobta transform and then gobta just overshoots the attack…. I was just like, “goodness gracious”. I loved this episode, also it was interesting to finally see someone call out what Diablo is truly yet funny because Rimiru didn’t understand what the primordial’s are😂

Well, Gobta had his "Jon Talbain" moment (short, but enough). Now I'm waiting to see Rimuru's reaction when Raphael explains to him what is a Primordial. Side note, I'm starting to rethink my opinions about elves. At least two good candidates to sugar-moms this season: that elf queen and Annette (from Isekai Shikkakku).

@@Marveryn Just to clarify, "Chosen One" is a Unique Skill. Unique Skills won't work on someone who has an Ultimate Skill, as Ultimate Skills are a higher level than Unique Skills. So Masayuki's skill doesn't work on Rimuru, who has the Ultimate Skill, i.e. Raphael.
