Michael flat out GAVE Rip Hamilton to Detroit so Detroit would beat the Lakers and ruin Kobe's chances of surpassing Michael (even though Kobe had no chance).

is this true? Where did you get this source>?

@@lesterllorca4837 when Michael was the president of basketball operations for Washington he pretty much gave Rip to Detroit for a bag of chips even though Washington needed him.

You can add Bibby to the best:)

Speaking of Bibby, how come he got to be signed by the Jordan Brand before Rip? I remember Rip telling the story about how RIP wanting to be signed by the Jordan brand during his Wizards days & Jordan telling him that his sneakers is for all stars. This was around the time before RIP became one a few years later w/ Detroit & got signed by the brand when he became one in Detroit. Bibby got signed by the Jordan brand, but never ever became an all star his entire. Same goes for Stephen Jackson. He got signed by the Jordan Brand despite not ever making an all star team his whole career & RIP is hands down & much, much better player than Jackson. Huge slap in the face to RIP.

Chauncey had a superior Pistons team that went to the Eastern conference finals what 7 straight years? He was the most important player to that team for sure.. but you throw all those players around CP3 and you win 5 straight titles. It's not that hard to see that Chauncey is definitely a top 5 PG but surely not better than Paul. Rings are won by teams, not individuals so yes they matter, but not when judging a players stats.

interesting that rip promotes and wears jordans considering the two of them never got along and jordan was the reason rip was traded from washington.

Lebron putting up 38 ppg 10 rpg and 9 apg or w/e he averaged in the Eastern conference finals is a perfect example. He did all that was humanly possible in sports to give his team a chance but had absolutely 0 help. The Hornets other players were the ones choking in the playoffs, not Paul. Though he's no Kobe,,D Howard,Melo,Wade or Lebron in the playoffs for sure ;p.

Michael Paul rules changed after 2004 finals and Bron shot 41% FG was promoted as next face of nba! That’s a bad look he’s just a buffer Kobe if he keeps shooting that low! If they don’t change those rules Bron never shoots 50% FG in year 7 which is when he finally shot 50% FG for a single season MJ shot .515% FG as a rookie no rules needed too be changed and avg 7.3 more points per game than rookie Lebron!
