The tiny number of people for whom this new Jag will be made (20 to 30 somethings with £150k to burn) aren't going to risk it on a completely untried car. Jag only this week had to recall loads of i-PACE cars because they risked going up in flames due to battery issues. If they had 5 good years of reliable EV's under their belt, they might have stood a chance. The fact is they have quite the opposite. The actual cars will only have certain features of the concept, that's understood, but the whole thing feels like a slow-motion train wreck at the moment.
