I think he got depressed because there's a part of him can't accept the fact that the power rangers are obsolete, a has been and they would do this weird martial arts formation first before attacking the enemy then when it's complete, an explosion in the background happens HAHAHA and if I was the enemy, I would have shot them already while doing their forms. Let's be frank, they look lame now as super heroes if we are to compare them to the movies like avengers or tv series like justice league or Titans. Then when his wife wanted a divorce, he snapped.

Jason, when I think of the BEST TIMES of my childhood, it's family trips, and Power Rangers. YOU were my favorite ranger, and the one I always wanted to be... But knew I couldn't... You were just so cool to me man. You made my otherwise not good childhood, one that I can now reflect on and say "Hey, there were some great times too!". I'm 18 years old now and I've since grown out of alot of things I loved When I was a little kid but power rangers will always hold a special place in my heart, I had so much toys and I would watch the 1995 live action movie religiously nonstop.... I would escape into the world of power rangers because in real life me and my brother got abandoned by our parents and I always wished and pretended Jason was dad we never had.
