RIP: Sarah's Grandmother Lillian Died 2 Years Shy of 100

Sarah's grandmother Lillian Bruno passed away and we flew to Minnesota to be a part of her Celebration of Life. She lived a full life up until her death at age 98 on March 10, 2024. Jeff captured the spirit of this amazing woman in a 2019 video and an interview. She reflected on her struggles in life, anecdotes of granddaughters Sarah and Shannon, attending an early Frank Sinatra concert in San Francisco and the troubling days following the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941.

RIP Lillian. She lived a full life and then some. I lost my heroic mother at age 92. She was feisty, a fighter but her time came. We had 5 generations in my family. What a beautiful lady Lillian was! That was a great idea to interview her! I wish I had done that with my mom before Alzheimer’s took over. Lillian looked fantastic for her age! Nice episode, Jeff. My mom will be 99 on May 30th. I hope she continues to stick around. Born in 1926, she's lived a good and busy 😂. Raised 5 boys, including me. She lived through the depression and heard about Pearl Harbor. 👍

What a wonderful idea Jeff, I wish I had of thought of this. To late now, my dad passed at 75, my mum was also 75 when he passed but she got dementia straight away. She went down hill fast and 1 yr later went into a nursing home. She is now only 78. A couple of her sisters who are in there 90’s visit her. Precious memories. What a wonderful woman. Although she didnt make it to 100, she lived life to the fullest which seems like 100 years. I love listening to their stories and miss them all.
