Such a handsome guy. Suffered so much. So very very sad. When he said that he is suffering more for the people who committed suicide who did not get a chance at a dignified death my thought was what an incredible selfless person. I know people suffering like him who are just waiting for a family member to die before they leave the earth. They are suffering to keep the other loved one suffering. That is a beautiful human being. I hope he found the peace and love he so greatly deserved. Anyone who disagrees I hope suffers as much as him and other people with severe mental illnesses. Obviously he wanted a good happy life or he would not have tried 40 medications, TMS etc. People are so ignorant and evil which made me like animals much better.

Its when adam said that he could never be with the woman he would like to meet and have relationship with, adopt kids and have a happy family... That hit me hardest. I feel that all the time, the desire to have a normal life with a normal job and dream of a happy family, i wish that all the time knowing i would probably never get any of that due to my chronic pain issue, just hurts so bad. RIP adam. You really seemed like a nice person. Wish i could have met you. Maybe if someday i take my own life, then there in heaven we both might become good friends. I would really love to meet you.

I must tell you in the Netherlands it's almost impossible to get the help with ending of life. I am looking but not finding. There is a foundation here but that's almost always for people who are elderly or have fiscal proven deceases. In Belgium there are people who are being helped at the moment that have (mental) disorders. But I have no access to it because I am Dutch. Even dho it's like 30 min from here. The world is harsh everywhere. I don't want to diy but living like this is not humaine.

I tend to think there is a spiritual element to illnesses. Doesn't make the daily suffering any easier...but I can't help but wonder if his case would have improved, by some alternative health option. For sure main stream medicine failed him big time, but they seem to have also imbued in him the fact that because they could not help him, there was no other way.

Let me just put it this way: For all you people who think that people suffering from terminal pain are "misdiagnosed" and "believe" they can not recover, I call bullshit on it. I would go as far as not wish you the pain I have to experience daily from orofacial pain over my whole right side of my face. I wake up with shooting pains, and go to sleep with double the pain. It doesn't get better. You cannot just tell your mind "get better" and "you are not well". Unfortunately, the medical community is so in the dark with some of the harder and esoteric sides that they label everything they cannot see on x-rays "phantom pain". I really actually should not be responding. People like yourself would not survive a day in myself and Adam's world. You would not survive a day in this torture. So it is easy to point a finger and blame somebody and say "you will get through it". But isn't it such a cliche that the same people who utter those nuances never experience the conditions they accuse of being recoverable? But I would go as far as saying I WISH people like you would go through this too. You would be the first to go down.

As with a lot of people with mental illnesses, including OCD, we read and reread over and over. We can't help it. But we do it because it's easier to communicate an idea once the time comes. We go through the cognitive motions, but there's really nothing there. In Adam's case, he posted the letter to his own FB page, then commented on it. But before that, he probably read it dozens of times. The emotions come from feeling the truth within the words. If you are trying to suggest that he's faking his symptoms or debunk the fact that he's mentally ill to the point of suicide, you're too late. He killed himself April 2017. I hope that's enough proof for you. If you didn't mean your comment like that, my apologies.

The easiest way to stop all problems in life is to become the complete opposite of what you were in the past....
Yeah Adam was definitely Bipolar. He wasn't just depressed. Look at all the energy and motivation he has. Believe it or not, Lithium (a staple drug for Bipolar, and also used a lot for depression) is the only drug in existence that is used to remove thoughts of suicide in a psychiatric patient. So why was Adam never put on that drug?
@kadrimamud3774 жыл бұрын
does lithium cure persistent pain ?
@jamesgraham53074 жыл бұрын
There is no drug that removes suicidal thoughts. You just need to treat the depression and the thoughts of suicide disappear. There are people who don't respond well to some medicines, so there is no one medicine that is better than others
@youknowcrimedontpay92573 жыл бұрын
Martazapine 30 mg to start then move to 45 two to three months later. If you remove the suicidal thoughts from depression but still have pain you are still living on hell. Many doctor's believe physical pain is Only caused by depression. Or does Physical pain put you into depression 24/7? Chicken or the egg? For the past 40 yrs I have been suffering just like Adam. There isn't 1 day that passes when I don't feel like suicide due to my symptoms. Pain medication takes me out of pain for a few hours 4 to 5 but once the pain starts again I want to end it. Doctors are not correct when they say its depression that causes the pain rather it's the other way around. If you listen to Adam I other videos he talks about waking up 20 times in the night. When the body does not acheive Slow Wave Delta sleep and does not recharge due to nonrestorative sleep you will want to die too. Our condition is very very very complex and only a small handful of people really understand it then you will know exactly why Adam wanted to end his life. Doctors are not thought this in medical school.
