Great to see MD out & about. The worlds best road racer. He will boss a bike around to make it work for him regardless. Uncle Joey, Father Robert & Brother William were all top road racers but it appears Michael will surpass his Uncle Joey's 25 IOMTT wins as he could race another 20 years. Cannot wait for IOMTT2022 as the last two have been cancelled. Fingers crossed....

Worlds best is a bit far fetched. Joey is the greatest. Peter Hickman is the man to beat now and barring any breakdowns can't see anyone getting close to him.

@@patrickmarley1241 Hicky on a big bike is the man to beat. Michael Dunlop is competitive on the supersport and supertwin. Hicky competes in the BSB. The short circuit stuff helps him a lot to get around the TT course.

Great stuff. Love this dude. NZ winter here but rode my bike FZ1 to town and back today which is half way around my mini IOM circuit which is a 20 mile winding road with a few straights where you can make them. To die for riding. Otago peninsula road. 90mph is fast on it give or take. like a mini TT in many ways twice as small and twice as tight at half the speed but just as unforgiving. 90 is also twice the speed limit on the few straights!

How sick is that..he just a normal person like all of us but the experiences he has had is what's so cool....... Any factory race bike has nothing to do with stock bike....the better the production bikes the better the race bikes Custom tuned specifically for you is the difference with a massive budget...... am sure with at least a proper suspension setup he can still pull a pretty fast lap @ TT......they are fighting for 1/10s, everything matters

The host referring to the Superbikes MD races are nothing at all like what you see here. The class under Superbikes called SuperStock, are the same as road versions except for tyres, suspension, tune etc. There are many classes of bikes at a road race, MD rides in 3-4 classes normally. Superbikes 1000 works , Superstock 1000 & Supersports 600. Sometimes he will ride lightweight class as well. Google Michael Dunlop winning IOMTT and you will never look at riding a motorcycle the same way again.
