In my last video, we laid down the entire kitchen floor and made all the cuts to the tile only to find out something went a bit wrong on the last day. I also headed to the rose bowl flea & a hand painted wallpaper showroom called Gracie to grab some inspo for the home!

If you buy books and plan on removing the dust jackets when you style shelving, save the dust jackets! If you decide at a later date to sell the books, the value will be higher if the book has its dust jacket. Also, fine art books tend to hold their value better than other titles

That wallpaper from Gracie's was breathtaking. I went on their website to drool. Unfortunately, I live in an apartment now, but I used to have a 1923 craftsman home, including a formal dining room. I would have spent thousands on some of this wallpaper if I had seen it back then. Your home is beautiful, love watching designing it.

I'm a potter and I'm always so interested in the things you pick up. The little browny cups are ment for a kind of wine sweet and thick, (called "olorosos") like Sherry wine, and for other kind of white, young and dry wines called "manzanilla" and "fino". Most of them are typical from a particular part of Spain (Andalucía). Here, those cups are called "catavinos" (the translation would be something like wine-testers 😂) I love your videos and your content. Love from Spain. Cheers🥰❤

So happy the tile correction was easier than most! Someone told me years ago to always get a "tile man" because they are worth the money. I believe you are "The Exception To The Rule!" I tiled a bathroom once and it was so pathetic I don't want to ever talk about it - lol. You are truly the hardest working design renovator I've ever seen! Please remember to use those knee pads whether or not your knees hurt - you'll thank me one day - seriously! Best of everything to you, Doll 💖

Drew! If you ever see the name Donna carved into the bottom of hand thrown ceramics please announce it. I made a bunch in 1983, 1984, 1985 in Azusa. I have moved 33 times in my life and it would be really nice to find some of my art that I’ve done throughout my life and left behind. *I had to leave two drawings behind in Reno Nevada when the 2008 recession hit. I really miss those.

All the beautiful pottery was really big in the 80’s. I have a great collection which I didn’t want to get rid of, so I stored it all away when the trends changed. I’m glad I kept them because they are back on trend again! Just shows you!

Hi Drew. I just wanted to make sure that before you grout your tiles, that you check to see if you should be putting a sealer on them first. We had natural stone tiles, and HD highly recommended that we use the sealer first or the grout would bond to the stone. It's very easy to use. Just wipe on, and you're good to go! Good luck with the rest of your tiling!

Love your finds! The dark goblets look like 70s’ Franciscan Madeira Smoke. I have my mom's, including the Champagne/tall sherbets, that were used during my childhood. They are great for dark/moody decor, and always a conversation piece when seen by guests for the first time. If you use or sell, they need to be hand washed.

you were sooo brave to even attempt this project in the first place with no experience. this is the disadvantage of big box stores, if you were purchasing from a person you’d ask for stone tile grout and they’d give it to you. you did an incredible job.

I hope you picked up the lucky pigs. I used to collect pigs. And I still buy some of them. I just bought a white iron pig with wings. I have a few like that. But I didn’t have a white one. I can’t wait to see what you will have in the vintage drop. I haven’t been to a flea market since I moved. My husband has taken things to the one that’s close a few times. He collects junk. And he sometimes takes my grandson with him to help in sell and then he makes a little money.
