Why do these new creations become instantly evil? ### 2. **Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009)** - **The Fallen’s Role**: The Fallen is supposedly unable to come to Earth unless Optimus Prime is dead, yet other Transformers, including Megatron, were able to wreak havoc without the need for Optimus's death. - **Jetfire’s Ability**: Jetfire, an old Decepticon who joins the Autobots, suddenly gives parts of himself to Optimus. But there’s no prior hint that this is even possible or a standard Transformer ability. - **Matrix of Leadership**: The Matrix was hidden in a secret location for thousands of years, yet it crumbles into dust and can be revived simply by Sam’s belief and willpower. Why is there no clear rule for how it functions? ### 3. **Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011)** - **Sentinel Prime’s Plan**: Sentinel Prime had an agreement with Megatron to transport Cybertron to Earth. If his betrayal of the Autobots was planned all along, why didn’t he simply execute the plan when he first arrived on Earth instead of needing to be revived? - **Chernobyl Incident**: The film hints that the Chernobyl disaster was caused by Decepticons retrieving alien technology. However, this incident is loosely tied to the plot and never fully explained. - **The Autobots’ Disappearance**: Near the end, the Autobots fake their deaths. Yet, there’s no explanation for how they survive the explosion of their shuttle or how the Decepticons didn’t immediately realize they weren’t destroyed. ### 4. **Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014)** - **Transformium**: The concept of "Transformium," the metal that makes up Transformers, introduces the idea that humans can now create their own Transformers. However, this contradicts earlier films where Transformers were ancient beings with a mystical origin. - **Optimus Prime’s Rocket Flight**: At the end, Optimus Prime flies into space using rockets from his back. But in previous films, he never showed this ability. Why didn’t he use it earlier? - **Lockdown’s Role**: Lockdown is capturing Autobots and Decepticons for reasons tied to the mysterious "Creators." Yet, the Creators are not fully explored, and the reason for his actions remains vague and underdeveloped. ### 5. **Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)** - **Optimus’s Amnesia**: Optimus Prime is brainwashed and turned into "Nemesis Prime," but his transformation and subsequent recovery feel rushed and underexplained, with little consistency regarding how powerful the brainwashing really was. - **History of Transformers on Earth**: The film introduces the idea that Transformers have been present on Earth throughout human history, aiding in key events like World War II. This retcon contradicts the original films’ narrative that suggested the Autobots and Decepticons were relatively new to Earth. - **Cybertron’s Size**: Cybertron comes close to Earth, but the planetary consequences (like massive tides, gravitational changes, or destruction) aren’t addressed. The proximity of two planets that close should have caused catastrophic damage. ### 6. **Bumblebee (2018)** - **Bumblebee’s Arrival**: The film retcons Bumblebee’s arrival on Earth, showing him arriving in the 1980s. Some are invincible in one moment and easily defeated in another without a clear explanation. - **Transformers in History**: The films repeatedly change the lore of when and how Transformers have interacted with human history. Each new movie introduces a past event that they influenced, contradicting previous depictions. - **Human-Transformer Collaboration**: Humans and Transformers working together or being aware of each other’s presence fluctuates in the series, creating confusion about how much the public or military truly knows. - **Unexplained Technology**: New technologies, like the AllSpark or the Matrix, are often introduced with little explanation, their functions changing whenever the plot requires them to do something new. (Possible) Plot Hole one: if all the movies are connected together than how did Bumblebee fight Nazi’s (showed in The Last Night) when he arrived in the 1980’s? Plot Hole two: How is Optimus Prime the only Prime alive (said in the 2nd movie) if Sentinel Prime is alive in the 3rd movie and Optimus Primal is alive in Rise of the Beast? Plot Hole 3: Why did the Decepticons steal the AllSpark Shard? (Seen in the 2nd movie) In The Last Knight there was Unicron, Nemesis Prime , NEST is back but called something else, lots of infodumping, Megatron's return from being Galvatron and an arguably lower tech transformation sequence for no reason, Cybertron coming to Earth after being visually destroyed in TF3 but not really apparently, the Cybertronian Knights of the British Earth Round Table, then Prime randomly and arbitrarily doesn't make it but actually does because plot reasons, and there's magic that works but everyone believes it doesn't, there's Cuba and Simmons just hanging out, and apparently Transformers as a race are still illegal (because that's going to work out well). Bumblebee and ROTB are not connected to the bayverse. Bumblebee is never shown landing on Earth in the 80's. He just appears. This is why they were able to write him fighting Nazis in TLK. Optimus was the only prime because they thought sentinel died while leaving Cybertron. And once again, ROTB is not a part of the bayverse and Primal is not a Prime.

4:26 Optimus had Rachet who's a medic and can fix things. The plot hole isn't this that how Optimus get his arm back. This is a weak storytelling, that Optimus didn't mention this in AOE.
