not so much that it was bad at all, it was simply underrated unfortunately. A few other movies with higher audiences were looking towards other movies. It came out around the same time as Legend of the Guardians : a Gahoole movie. So the titling got confusing for who didn't know anything of either movie. I was fortunate to see it in theater and thought it amazing . I have watched again and again since buying it for myself :D....and shameless have done cosplay for it because of how interesting the story is. I watch it as much as I watch How to Train Your Dragon. :D >.< I'd love to see how second one would play out. There's a lot of lore thanks to the young kid's books and side note stuff....Like who jack frost was before he was jack frost. and How each of the Guardians came to be :D It's really interesting stuff....

Great movie with good voice cast too. This film was Chris Pine’s first animated voice-over family friendly movie debut as well. Pine recorded his lines as Jack Frost, while Star Trek Into Darkness was in production, one year later. These cast came from different countries. Isla Fisher and Hugh Jackman were both Australian, while North was played by the American Alec Baldwin. Jude Law is fantastic for Pitch too.

It's fascinating seeing some of the actors read through their dialogue, honestly, especially after having watched it being animated first. Jude Law is especially expressive with the different variations of each line. I love Chris Pine's delivery too. There's something really warm and calming about his voice that I don't think other actors would have nailed the same way.

All of these actors are amazing at voice acting! :D I couldn't really see any other actors playing their characters. :D I mean Chris Pine is Jack Frost and his voice suits the character so well! Alec Baldwin is North his voice definitely suits the character, Jude Law is Pitch I couldn't really see any other actor play the character as brilliantly as he does. Isla Fisher is a wonderful Tooth Fairy :D

gotta love seeing people invested in something so cool. theyve reinvented the mythos of these characters, given them a spectacular design and a wonderful twist of grace. i think i love this film so much because its story thrives on the characters-- it thrives on their motive and wellbeing. something so integral to a persons character as their own beliefs-- a middle ground between commonplace trust and complex ideology-- is important to me. it is not an amazing masterpiece of a film (far from it!), but i appreciate the effort put into it (even in the soundtrack). the director himself is interactive, he cares about this piece just as much as he wants the audience to. i love this film, and i love what it stands for-- godspeed, dreamworks!!
