After having had such an enthusiastic response to our instrumental version of Rise, we are delighted to now share the full song and new slideshow.
Fun fact: It may surprise you to know that, other than the computer-generated drum sounds, no keyboards or synthesisers were used to create this track's sonic landscape: all of the sounds were created with electric and bass guitars and the rather excellent effect plugins included with Logic X
Fun fact 2: This song was just over 24 years in the making: it started off as a guitar riff, composed on the sofa of Rhunestar 3's Davenport Contingents parents' home in March 1999 and finally uploaded in its final form* to the Tube of You in April 2023.
*I say "in its final form" very loosely as there's no such thing as a "finished mix"...there may yet be more hours yet to be spent at Electric Landlady's steam-powered Trubworth & Doublethick mixing desk...
