@@holographicfrog1503 it's not a joke. It's about the whole cancel culture and SJW culture on Twitter. "What a waste of paradise, sucking life" - we have this great thing called the internet where we can share ideas, but instead we use it to tear each other down and feed our own ego. "Settled in the victim's role" - everyone wants to be a victim to get sympathy and power. "Face facts. You’d love to be attacked." - they act like victims but when they are attacked, they love it because it gives them a chance to fight back and feed their ego even more through seeming more morally virtuous than they are. "I will watch you suffer like a good consumer should." - people enjoy drama. The consumption of media, including social media, is encouraged by society and creates drama through things like this. "Popcorn in my belly tells me you’re misunderstood." - we want to believe that they're just misunderstood and that it's just entertainment, like a sitcom. Or he's just become desensitised to it (as he says in the next line) and now sees it as entertainment, not really believing they're misunderstood; in this context, it's sarcastic. "Wait, I feel nothing. Am I becoming desensitised to virtue touting?" - he now doesn't even bat an eyelid at these kind of people because it's so common. "Judgments they’re scowling. Pigeons they’re howling." - people on Twitter (pigeons) are very judgemental. "Nobody stops to listen." - nobody wants to hear the other side of the argument, they just want to be right. "Can’t take it back. Accusation's fact. Denial becomes evidence to crucify the innocent." - as soon as an accusation is made, that person is guilty by default. If they deny it, it just makes it worse and provides more ammunition against them.
