Makes as Lyons seem like a boy band. I was really disappointed in Austin until I listened to these guys. As Lyons just can't play it's not their fault.... But they really do suck no matter if it's Austin or bruce

@dafook8653 жыл бұрын
@r33mote actually it was original in those times because many metalcore bands only incorporated blues into their solos and mainly focused in breakdowns then the guitarist added his jazz style into his solos which was kinda a first one to fuse this style in the metalcore scene back in those days and im nt talking abt djent bands because its a whole another topic. These guys focused more on song structure rather than breakdowns.

something that every metalhead should understand is that metal , as every single thing in the world, is constantly changing, through time. when iron maiden came out everybody said ugh they suck , but they were accepted a few years later, thats life, everything changes, metal changes as well, there is always something new coming out and we have to be open minded about it, its like when thrash came out, some people loved it , some people didnt, but it became more popular , thats the way it goes

Seriously? This is one of the best rising bands out there and you haters are pissed that it doesn't sound like Iron Maiden? But even if it did you'd all be bitching and calling Austin a ripoff of his daddy. Music "fans" yes quotations are very much intended, but you people are never satisfied. Why listen to music if everything makes you bitch?
@dantearyan69510 жыл бұрын
I wonder how many bands and genres you know, cause nevermind what we like, our brains should let us understand what's better in some not subjective key and look at thing objectivly. To me this band is pretty weak and nothing new besides it's well selling thing while doing same. By the way of objective look, this band has nothing new/special to offer, vocals are...well kinda common, guitar playing and drums do the same stuff as the other bands playing this.. generic way. I understand some, many will find it good but we got to be serious sometimes and say: "well they're okay but they could even act like they're doing something special", because all of you can listen whatever you want but your main musical purpose is to search for something is/was new, back then Iron Maiden(somehow) now...definetly not Rise to Remain. You may ask me for a example of making something new. So yeah there are many great bands that have done something new back in their time or do now. Black Sabbath with their...well acutally its the best example how u create something new, no more words needed I hope Sepultura with their Roots album Kvelertak's black n roll Acid Bath and their "death rock" stuff Melvins' Ozma, Six songs,Lysol, houdini etc. Zu/Fantomas /w mike patton, no description needed
@DragonKnightX129 жыл бұрын
Dante Aryan It doesn't have to be new to be good, and I don't think you realize how hard it is to actually make something new in a scene where pretty much everything has already been done before. You pretty much have to mix it with something outside of the genre to make something new and when bands like Korn try that such as mixing Dub-step and Metal , Metal fans whine, saying it isn't Metal. This might of been generic in the 2000's when Melodic Metalcore was mainstream, but in 2010's this style went out of fashion in favor of the even lesser style chugging and breaking down the entire song. Now YOUR main musical purpose may be to find something, but no that's not the main musical purpose for everyone, for most it's just to find music that they enjoy.Just as a artist music purpose is to make music they enjoy and are proud of whatever that may be.

Why do so many people hate on this band just because he doesn't use his father's vocal style? I think it sounds pretty cool, the screaming reminds me of Phil Bozeman and the cleans remind me of BFMV and hint of his dad at times. They might be metalcore but they are putting out music of much higher quality in my opinion than the typical bands: Asking Alexandria, Attack Attack!, A Day To Remember...etc.

I KNOW. What it comes down to is it's ALL metal. When people ask what we listen do, we don't say "oh, I like metalcore, post-hardcore, deathcore, thrash metal, and a bit of nu meta." We just say we listen to metal.
