this isn't a debate, this is shadow's grave. time stop and all, vegeta survived goku's spirit bomb and kamehameha in his base form. they are both capable of destroying a planet and he survived. swords guns are just child's play. vegeta can solo the entire sonic universe. people overestimate shadow's power, while vegeta is in time stop what will shadow do he can't hurt vegeta. get guns, swords fuse with sonic in their ultimate form, all he will do is get sonic killed. face it shadow fans, shadow is as good as dead. in vegeta's base form he could own the entire sonic universe.

Saying 'Vegeta survived 100x gravity' and 'Vegeta can destroy planets' won't mean anything against Shadow. Shadow turns Super, freezes time and uses the insta-kill Chaos Rift. K.O. Or Shadow teleports Vegeta to the core of the sun or a black hole, or takes him back in time to the big bang or forward in time to the end of the universe. Again, K.O.

Pamela Fitzgerald Here's why Shadow hasn't used it before: Shadow didn't know Chaos Control froze time in SA2. Shadow never had access to all 7 chaos emeralds in Heroes. So without flight from the Super form, Shadow couldn't reach Metal Overlord. Chaos Rift is also extremely risky without the Super form. In Shadow the Hedgehog, Shadow had amnesia and forgot most of his powers as a result, In 06, the only time Shadow became super was against Solaris, a time deity. Time-erasing powers would have no effect. In Chronicles, Shadow had the perfect time to use Chaos Rift, and did to kill Ix. Any other times, Shadow doesn't like to kill. So if it can be avoided such as with Eggman and Sonic, Shadow has no problem with it. When facing a foe like Ix or Vegeta, Shadow knows he can't hold back.

First off, super saiyan is 50x base form, which is a 5000% increase in power. Second, yes, 500% times base and then 500% times super saiyan 1 would make super saiyan 2 well over 1000% increase to base. 500% is 5 times stronger, which makes super saiayn 2, 25 times stronger than base form. Although, this is still wrong, as super saiyan 1 alone is 50x base form, and super saiyan 2 is twice as strong as super saiyan 1. In other words, vegeta has super saiyan 2, which is 100 times his base form, and shadow has his super form, which is 10 times his base form. Oh, and the only characters shown to destroy the moon are master roshi and piccollo. Vegeta destroyed a bug planet called arlia, but that never happened in the manga, and is therefore not canon.

***** Okay let me explain because I know way more about Sonic than i should lol. Shadow first of all should have never of had a time limit. The chaos emeralds give the user unlimited power which in turn never runs out. The only reason in the games they need rings as a mechanic is so they aren't broken and overpowered. Second Shadow barely tapped into the full potential of Chaos Control. Super Shadow can bend the fabric of time and space at his will. Vegeta has no defense against that. Third Super Shadow is far stronger than a Super Saiyan. Super Shadow has beaten beings that are omnipotent and multiversal level threats that can wipe out the fabric of reality on a universal scale(Solaris). Vegeta is only a planet buster and is not invincible and clearly has limits due to Ki energy, plus Super Sayians can still be killed. In reality Vegeta doesn't stand a chance.

to answer how vegeta came back after he died, it because well in dragonball z, there this set of magical items called the dragonballs which can grant people wishes, including bringing people back from the dead. in fact nearly all the main characters of the show have died at least twice only to be bought back with the dragonballs

Assuming Vegeta is around the same pjysical strength as Goku add the x50 Multiplier from super saiyan, and neither of them would even make it budge. If you want some more information on this topic, you could look at the He-Man vs. Lion-O fight since it gets brought up there.

Hey ris, I don't know if you reply to comments on videos as old as this one but I have a intresting fact, when Maria sent him in an escape pod to earth before she died(this is at least how sonic adventure two put it, shadow the game had a slightly different way it went down) she says sayonara, shadow the hedgehog, and I case you didn't know she was essentially the only thing he had to a friend or companion, so this would seem quite emotional for his last moments, but we have the new mewtwo verus shadow so I have no idea how it will unfold, but I have a feeling that it might go simmilar to how it did with the second (DBZ fans please don't go sayian on me. .PS, this was just a joke) battle that caused a riot and could start world war three. If someone hasn't pointed this out to you yet: Vegeta Only needed the Blutzwave machine to go Super Saiyan 4 ONCE, after that he was able to do it on free will. However, he was able to reach level 3 before that, but Death Battle decided to use the level 2 version of Vegeta from the Android Saga to make it more fair.

Steve Spud Stevespud is 100% correct. There is a HUGE debate raging between DBZ fans on whether or not Dragonball GT is canon or non-canon. Akira Toriyama only had a partial helping hand in GT's development. He helped with the story and drew a few of the characters, but before the series was finished he left because he didn't like the direction it was going. Besides, IMO Super Saiyan God form completely ruined the possibility of DBGT ever being able to take place. DBGT takes place several years into the future, and we clearly didn't see Goku using his SSJG form in that. So, it's more than likely that GT was just a spinoff and SSJ4 form doesn't exist.

The original Dragonball (where Goku is a kid) and the first part of Dragonball Z (The Vegeta Saga through to the end of Frieza) are well worth watching. If you do go watch them, I recommend watching it with Japanese dialog and subtitles, since they don't mess with the storyline as much as the dubs. (Watching these will explain to you how Vegeta came back to life)

I totally called that one down to the letter and as Wizard and Boomstick were going through the powers and saw Shadow's 1000% power increase to Vegeta's 500% power increase in Super Saiyan form but as soon as I saw the temporary I was like "Nope, Vegeta has this one" because if he can survive the initial onslaught of Shadow, Vegeta would have this battle in the bag, and I was right 500%... Great video though.

As a warning, in terms of your prediction of who's going to win during the ad. Eggman vs Wily, Goku vs Superman, and Ivy vs Orchid do not have ads. So if you see those you should pause the video and explain your prediction. As for my recommendation. Since you're very experienced in this now, I recommend the very 1st episode, Boba Fett vs Samus Aran. That way you can see how much these fights have changed since the beginning.

***** Yep, Wiz and Boomstick had different personalities in that, and the fighters even had health bars! In terms of episode animations: 1-19 were animated by Ben (Who plays Wiz). 20-29 are animated by Jordan Lange (Quality and speed improvement over Ben), and 30 onwards will vary with newer animators. In terms of which ones you've seen, you've seen episodes 12, 13, 17, 22, 24, 26, 28, and 30. I'm a pretty big expert on Death Battle so if you have any questions, feel free to let me know!

Hey! you're a brony right? you should react to turnabout storm! It's a fan made series that is a crossover between phoenix wright and MLP. The only real problem is that 4 out of 5 of the episodes are over an hour long. and the final episode is over 2 hours. But even if you don't make a reaction to it, or if you've never played the phoenix wright games, it is still WAY worth watching if you have the time.

***** Well the there are about 30 characters in DBZ who can travel across entire continents in a few minutes, and they have a radar pointing directly to each and every one of them. The one rule they can't get around is they only get 1 wish a year, later in the series they get 2 year but that's still annoying. This is one of the few episodes I wish DB would redo the fight for. I don't disagree with the results, but I don't like the fighters were represented. In all the versions I've seen of Shadow, I've never seen him as being the type of fighter who wastes time teleporting his opponents to random locations.

Senzu beans don't bring you back to life, they can heal pretty much anything, but once your soul leaves your body, there's nothing they can do for you. Vegeta was brought back with the dragonballs twice. Once on namek and once while they were fighting kid buu.

Shadow really should have won this one. If they didn't overlook Sonic Chronicles, then Shadow would have won. In the game, Shadow has a move called Chaos Rift, whereas the opponent is killed straight away. Yet, for some reason, they didn't include it in this Death Battle. There was another Death Battle (I won't say which one as you haven't watched it yet) whereas the winner was almost overpowered until they produced 1 move that won them the whole match, and I think they should have done that with Shadow. Anyone who says that Screwattack are Sonic fanboys for letting both Sonic and Tails win need to see this comment. Also, if there are any DBZ fans reading this comment, would there be any way for Vegeta to counter Chaos Rift? If so, and if you aren't just defending Vegeta, but stating an actual way Vegeta could counter Chaos Rift, then I am ok with this Death Battle.
