I spent 8 hours making this video: a 30 minute full course on creating & designing a project + plan. I genuinely believe that if you follow this video you can make a stellar research project that helps you win science fairs, make a genuine contribution, publish papers, get into your dream colleges, etc. etc. Let me know what you think & any future videos you want to see.

😂😂😂 Got the ad that talks about those “3 key factors your child needs for ivy school” right before this video On the video though, it was very helpful!

This is by far the best advice I have ever received on science fair, this year will be my first time competing and with these tips, I am sure to create a phenomenal research project that can help so many people and make an incredible contribution to my field. Rishab thank you so much! You not only inspire me to do the best research possible but also help me step by step with it! ☺😊

First of all, thank you so much for all that you do- this is really helpful! I have a question about having parts of your methodology that you may not be able to do. I wanted to test the effect on a drug/molecule that I designed on a specific bacteria, but I don't think I can do that in vivo because that probably wouldn't pass through the IRB/SRC. Do you have any suggestions for a simulation or any other alternative?

I am struggling with the same thing. the topic I want to explore is based on cancer and theres no way I can conduct this experiment

You can change your research question slightly based on what you have available. AlphaFold3 recently launched a web server for studying how molecules/drugs can interact with other biomolecules. Here's something I just asked ChatGPT: Molecular Docking Studies: Use computational tools to predict how your drug molecule interacts with bacterial targets, such as proteins or enzymes. Software like AutoDock, Schrödinger, or MOE can help with these simulations. Molecular Dynamics (MD) Simulations: Explore the dynamics of the drug-bacterial target interactions over time using MD simulation tools like GROMACS, NAMD, or AMBER. QSAR (Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship) Models: Build or use existing QSAR models to predict the activity of your drug based on its chemical structure.

Hello Rishab, So I have a 3.97/4 UW (one B sophomore year in AP French) and a 5.85/6 weighted which puts me at 4/387 in my class. I got a 1580 on the SAT. So far I've participated in speech and debate, did biology research at a local university, was part of NHS, did Model UN, did key club, did math and science honors society as well. I haven't won any awards of note and was wondering if this would be enough to have a shot at Harvard or no?

How to take air and make it be propellent of a rocket? That is almost impossible, but we can do a cylindrical rocket that could accelerate air behind it.

Hi Rishab, I love your videos but I feel left in the dark about one thing: if we have a novel research question and hypothesis, how would we know if that question can be answered if it hasn't been before. What i really mean is how can we answer a question if we might not have enough resources to generate a methodology to test that hypothesis? Would you need to propose a research question to a college, lab, or professor? I want to work with chicks to test myopia development but is that even possible given that I am only sixteen?
