Rishi kapoor has always been my favourite actor. One of the most natural actors who not only portrayed romantic roles with ease but also different character roles with brilliance during the later phase of his career. A rare combination of charm and acting skill. Unfortunately, he was always underrated. RIP sir. And such classy shows will perhaps never air on tv ever!

The affection, the compassion, the respect for each other amongst the brothers is truly very rare to see these days. More than brothers, we can see two best friends here and Simiji, still Chintuji's teacher. Look at the grace and ease with which Simi carries on the interview.

That is one problem in a joint family. Always one or the other kid lose individuality and known by their brother's name or father or uncle. This happened with Chimpu ji. Always recognized as Shammi Kapoor or rishi kapoor brother and couldn't managed to come out of their shadow. RIP sir. You were a lovely person. Unfortunately the world couldn't see more about you.

Rajiv was spoiled because of Alcoholism and Ladies as per many people from industry. But he definitely had a great future if would have put his energy in the right direction. Learning is, people must realise that stardom can be easy but a solid backup like Kapoors is like being born with a silverspoon. In the modern era Ranbir Kapoor is successfully continuing the legacy of Kapoors in a humble manner.

Sir Rishi you underappreciated your talent! YOU never failed. Movies scripts failed, times of released failed (you were ahead of times) but you Sir NEVER failed! You were unique and an only one of a kind, you are still an only one of a kind . The handsome, gold hearted, outspoken, righteous man! Sadly, you did not leave a carbon copy of you!
@galinakeselman32302 жыл бұрын
@HFC I miss real acting. I really do not like Ranbir . Sadly Sir Rishi did not leave a Corbon copy of himself. His son never learned the respect for his father, only crying that he was not cuddled and hugged enough. Even in comments in his dad's book he could not help that highlight his dad was overweight actor. That's what son highlights??? OMG!
@tessawhite92 жыл бұрын
@HFC Back in the day when movies makers bought barrels of red paint for blood shots, Rishi Kapoor was changing the landscape of Bollywood. He was paving unchartered territory with his style of movies. Many were not commercially successful , because apparently then men not supposed to have emotions other then anger. Now all those movies, some 20, 30, 40 years ago released, as soon as they are uploaded they are fetching thousands and thousands within couple of hours. On the other hand so many movies from back then that smashed the box office are not even remembered and not worthy of KZbin! This is a true testament to a true legend. Ranbir Kapoor movies will meet the same fate, nobody will even remember his hyper movies without context. He definitely will not go in history for his talent as his father. True talent will always withstand the change of times!

Simi ji, your talk show Rendezvous as well as your documentaries- India's Rajiv & the tribute you did to Ranbir Raj Kapoor (1924-1988) are all first class!! Your first episode of Roundezvous with Simi Garewal is sweet- you talk with your co-star the late Rishi Kapoor (1952-2020) who died due to leukemia which nobody really knew of his ailment as well as his sojourn to New York City for treatment. He will surely be missed!! Neetu Singh- his wife & co star in films like Zahreela Insaan (1974), Rafoo Chakkar (1975), Khel Khel Mein (1975) Kabhi Kabhie (1976) & so many classics will surely miss him- they were married for 40 years (1980 onwards) & he laated for 50 years (Mera Naam Joker was released in December 1970 to a negative response which destroyed Raj Kapoor financially- overtime it became a.classic). Trivia: Manoj Kumar wrote the introduction (first chapter)- The entire film is beautiful. Rishi Kapoor- India's Lover Boy 💘, Rest In Peace & may God Bless You & have mercy on your soul!!

I jst love the bro bonding in the Kapoor family. Raj, Shammi n Sashi were known to be so close to each other as brothers n the same can be said for Randheer, Rishi n Rajeev. All were successful actors ( except Rajeev perhaps) in the same industry, yet these men never let ugly sibling rivalry, or professional ego n jealousy ruin their emotional bonding with each other.
