Most of that aerobic activity is gonna give her (anyone), some real spine, joint, and bone fatigue that'll be life-long, as ya age. Swimming, is the best. Yip. It adds bodyfat to ya, but it exercises every muscle in the body without the strain.

Cycling is pretty gentle on the body compared to a lot of sports.

JTMarlin8: You’re obviously not a fan of Miley. Regardless Simon is correct - Kate and Miley do have mild similarities that are unmistakable. Kate is a refined version of Miley in speech pattern and looks. Personally I like them both. They both are risk takers. Miley had to put a dagger through the heart of Hanna Montana so fans and producers couldn’t pigeon hole her for life that so often destroys child stars as adults.

Per 1: Roadies outside. Mtb’rs inside. As an avid recreational downhiller I always thought XC was more similar to road biking than to real mountain biking. This proves it lol.
@keirfarnum68113 жыл бұрын
@@mrsmartypants_1 XC IS real mountain biking.
@mrsmartypants_13 жыл бұрын
@@keirfarnum6811 Yeah I get that officially it is. So it is. But for me mountain biking is major knar, big jumps, very fast downhill speeds, steep climbs. XC has none of that. Don’t get me wrong I highly respect XC. Love watching the races. The top riders are in ungodly great aerobic shape. Good XC weekend warriors leave me in the dust on the flats and small rolling terrain. But on the steeps with knar, jumps and drops XC’rs are like brides maids wearing high heels 😂. Downhill mountain biking for me is like alpine skiing black diamond lines - fun and exciting the entire way down. XC is kinda boring. Plus I’m inherently lazy.

All these movements are unnecessarily dangerous in an attempt to look like some cutting edge training.
@mrsmartypants_13 жыл бұрын
Keecey 3: Results prove you don’t know squat LOL. Some color inside the lines all their lives (you). Winners soar outside of them.
@keecey37833 жыл бұрын
@@mrsmartypants_1 Your response "proves you don't know squat LOL". Where did I say anything about not getting results? All I did was highlight these movements are unnecessarily dangerous... meaning you can get the same result doing a safe movement. People who train like this get injuries from training period. Now go back into the shit hole you came from and shut your mouth because you don't know what you are talking about.

Yeah - one of the things I loved about MTB growing up was that most of the heroes were working class daredevils; as much as I admire Kate, her well-considered presence on camera in particular, not to mention a no-expense-spared approach to gear and training, definitely speaks to capitalism's increasing influence on the sport. Who knows whose talents out there are being missed out on.
@keirfarnum68113 жыл бұрын
@@-TRIPLE_A- When I was racing off road (back in the stone age 90s), it was all I could do to keep my bike running. It’s expensive. We had races where we would start with brand new cables and housing for derailleurs and brakes and they would all need replacement by the end of the race. That adds up quickly.
