Rita Panahi applauds Aussie comedian poking fun at ‘woke journalism’

Sky News host Rita Panahi has applauded Australian comic Jack Tossol for poking fun at “woke journalism” in a TikTok.
“I woke up, checked my privilege and then had breakfast where I found my journalism degree,” Mr Tossol said in the TikTok video.
“Then I wrote articles why the suburb Manly’s name is problematic and how cricket whites reinforce colonialism and white supremacy.”
He goes on in the video to mock journalists making fun of “baby boomers” who disagree with their articles.
“So much material for comics who dare to go there,” Ms Panahi said.

I'm right there with you. For the past year I have been severely depressed. Almost to the point where I feel like. What's the point in working towards my future in the company I work for? Or what's the point of anything when there's so much disarray going on in society. I'm not sure where you live, but I live in Central Texas in the United States. And even though I don't think anything's going to come of the border standoff with Texas and the government. I do believe that eventually sooner than later we are going to have some type of battle or War. Even have European countries are warning their citizens by sending out pamphlets on what to do when war comes and that they need to start stocking up on stuff. We have all these individuals that ended up with tons of money and are now building bomb shelters. People like Rick Ross, Josh Duhamel and Mark Zuckerberg. If it were just me I would not be that depressed. I am definitely prepared both with knowledge and with weapons training. However, I have my two children that are now grown. My daughter is 23 and my son is 25. But now I also have a 1½ year-old granddaughter. That little girl is my absolute world and the light of my life! l don't want her to have to grow up in all that turmoil. But something's going to happen. We have passed the point of no return. The public schools are just propaganda centers, telling kids there are 72 genders, and failing to teach them math and reading. One of my greatest blessings was NOT being sent to public school when I was a little girl. . . I was a tomboy, so school counselors would've MISdiagnosed me as a trans boy just because I didn't like "girl stuff" until AFTER I went through puberty. And it's easier than ever to homeschool nowadays! There are lots of resources and parental networking groups online who can also organize by city, so the kids can get together in the real world for things like field trips, camping, sports, etc. So they develop peer groups in the real world. I love Sky News Australia. It's one of the few places on the internet I can get the truth about my own country! In the U.S. these days, there is no segment more ignorant of facts that the average college student!

Exactly why my family stopped watching the BBC years ago and cancelled the tv licence. Go to tv licensing and declare you no longer require a license.

The really crazy ones, are anyone who paid to sit there. Our universities are not educating our most promising. I am so glad that our grandchildren have each decided to pursue future studies, side by side, while being gainfully employed.
