I bought a stir up leggings last year, but I hated it on myself, it wasn't tight enough, made my legs look horrible. I love leather jackets and aviator jackets, but I always try to find them in thrift shops. I literally bought beautiful real leather jackets for about 10 dollars, and they not only look lot more elevated, but I also save money. Fast fashion is always trying to mimic the real quality products, but when you buy something from them, you are ended up with something not what you wanted. It's the same with trench coats, suit pants and shirts for me. In secondhand shops you can find much better quality!

Lovely episode rita, thank you for your work! Please do that video about fashion and fashion business. I think it will be most beneficial to a lot of people. I have been thinking about it in the past two years and realized that indeed fashion is a huge business, and it’s very hard to be focused just on the things that you need, like and are part of your style DNA so to say, and not be distracted by all the influencers, and the things that I waved at us constantly it’s very distracting. 😮

Ahah I have almost everything: parachute trousers from Zara, Zara and Asos aviators (but in “suede”) - both of them were bought 6 years ago, leggings with stirrups by Ukrainian brand Norba (in a very good quality), and also I recently won a mini knit bag from Ukrainian brand Babusia (waiting for delivery). The only thing I don’t have from this list is embellished ballet flats but I have Manolo Blahnik hangisi 😁

I think it is the same with bomber jackets and Zara knits full of itchy acryls and polyamids, Zara is good at summer dresses tops and with jeans but that is all

Agree with Rita on all of them. Cargo pants are practical if you are actually on a hiking trip, but it's ridiculous to wear in a city. As to leggings, they are difficult to style, and you have to be very slim to look good in leggings. Most women just look lazy, frumpy, and dated in them. Cheap leggings look even worse.

Stirrups are funny and the trend context is so powerful with this item. I remember my mom wearing them in the mid-90s and me thinking "but why?". They look like a fashion accident :)

Hello @@katit.1481. Well, that's just what I know my mom bought in the US in mid 90s and would wear. No, I did not allude to the 90s style being funny at all. Just the stirrups being a peculiar item. I saw it as a nod to horse riding gear, actually. I bet everybody's perception of the 90s style varies, based on the place where they lived, the social circles they were in, whether they were able to pay attention to fashion during that period of time, how old they were, the media they followed etc. I am no fashion historian, I only speak to my own memories of the time. I remember accentuated waistlines, pencil skirts and straight trousers, cleaner lines, less freedom in matching than we have now, joggers and hoodies used to be for working out only, sneakers started to become a fashion staple. What are your memories? I'd be so curious!

Faux leather is a weak spot for Zara and Mango. Fabric look horrible. Some Japanese brands do much a better job on faux leather at similar price.

Зарівські дублянки класно виглядають. Чому їм потрібно виглядати як натуральна шкіра? Зараз вже нормальні люди намагаються не носити вбитих тваринок. Карго штани - треба мати, класна заміна джинсів і джогерів
