Riven is all about skirmishing, trading, and dueling. In this video I'm gonna be showing you the mechanics of trading in the top lane, and things you can do to gain a lead. I will also give tips on when to trade and how to look at the game in a different perspective. If you practice these tips you will be able to climb the ranks and become a better Riven player.

1:25 is actually a animation cancel q >w like fast qs. other wise you will get a full second in between q and w.

When you mentioned double casting, why not e aa wq and still get ahead of them, and you can animation cancel ult with q as well, also when you want to stun r your laner, just R2 W, you dont have to wait for the animation to finish to start your R
