River Bladnoch suicide duck Pike fishing Pt 2

Part 2 of fishing the Bladnoch for pike with the suicide duck lure. Not as good a days fishing as part 1 but lovely to be on the river none the less.

What a beautiful section of river, even if the pike weren’t cooperating! Out of interest, do you wear one of those midge net head thingys to stop the little sods feasting on you? Asking for a friend! 😂😂👍

Yes lovely stretch of river. I do sometimes wear a midge net but not that day. I actually have a jacket and headnet in one that is good when they are really bad. Fine for lures and bait fishing but not much use for fly fishing as you cant see the fly on the water.
