River Camping New York's Thousand Islands | Jacques Cartier State Park

Enjoy a glimpse of amazing Thousand Islands waterfront camping on the Saint Lawrence River in New York. Jacques Cartier State Park has some of the best waterfront camping in the Thousand Islands on the Saint Lawrence River. If you are looking for waterfront camping in the Thousand Islands region then Jacques Cartier Campground is an excellent option. This is also a great place for paddling in NY whether you are looking for canoeing or kayaking in NY. For this trip we were camping in our Lance Travel trailer... we love camping in our Lance 2285 Travel Trailer... our favorite Lance model. I'm paddling a Placid Boatworks Rapidfire and my wife is paddling a Swift Cruiser 12.8 which are lightweight solo canoes.

Worked at the concession stand making burgers in 1966. Have not been back for almost 60 years. Great video. I’ll stop this summer. Do they still serve burgers?

Hey Peter. Thanks. On the trips we have taken there we have not seen the concession stand open, But we have only visited in the early season before things are in full swing. If you find out let us know.

What happened to the dock at the end of the point? Docked there many times in the late 60's.
