Because of you, I carp fish all over the local city ponds and lakes catching monsters in the hood of L.A. 😂 I laugh and say the bums are getting high on fentanyl behind me as I'm fighting a 20 pound fish in MacArthur Park on a Ultra light set up 😅😅 so much fun these fish are! Title of the video caught my attention. Last year from mid August to the end of September all i managed to catch was my first buffalo carp (not complaining about that!). But the commons did not want anything i presented. Tried different baits, rivers, lakes, depths, time of day/night and couldnt manage to catch any of the fish i saw in my swim. Still nice to sit by the water in anticipation, time not wasted. Looking forward to your 2024 videos Tom! Thanks for keeping it real

Hmmm, sounds like you covered all the bases that I would have suggested. Only other possibility I can think of is maybe they were having a second spawn. Sometimes they'll do that for a few weeks in early fall. Glad you enjoy the videos, thanks!
