River of Life Part two - life and death at Mwamba

Part two of the video continues the story of the Luangwa River and brings to a conclusion the story of Ringo. It also includes more about the stunning Landscape and re introduces the viewer to the Hollywood Pride at rest in the day and by the river at night.

+OTC I am sorry to say he died the very next day from his injuries despite the best efforts to save him. In fact we were on our way back to camp that evening when we found him very weak and struggle for breath.

It’s a good question. I’m no expert but I believe it’s been tried but but without success as the Zebra has a very different temperament.

Hi Sami. We all hoped that he would survive but he was in a very bad way so not a great surprise that the vets could not save him. He did not lack courage though.

I don't know how the wildlife can drink that nasty rancid water.I realize that animals can drink dirty water but that water is horrible. There are even carcasses in the water. How can they drink that water and not get sick??
