Yes, adorable even when crunching on a hapless fish! BB

Wow, watching him crunch on that fish - they've got some serious teeth.

I have only seen one IRL once and it was no less than magical. They are beyond adorable. How do they avoid being eaten by alligators there, though???

Otters are pretty strong and athletic but gators and Crocs have patience so it probably happens once in awhile. BB

Amazing video! Up here in Massachusetts, it appears our Otters are a little bit smaller. A couple years ago while visiting my parents in Florida, we were walking their dog when we came across 3 Otters on their street and of course the dog was inquisitive, but I knew it was best to keep him as far away from them. Then the Otters went right into the drain hole on the side of the street. I’m sure you know what the drains look like. Needless to say, it was an awesome sight!

How does their population fare with alligators.

They are pretty powerful and athletic so probably pretty good, but a gator lying in wait no doubt gets one every now and then. BB
