Such a beautiful location. You started out with a nice Tank. It’s awesome we are back to topwater season! That was a mangled Bass at 11:30😊. Way to catch a ton of Bass!!! 💥🎣

Thanks Ron! Yeah it's a pretty fun place. You usually catch a bunch of smaller sized but a good one every once in a while. That crooked fish was wild looking ! Thank you for watching 👊

Bro that spot was loaded with fish. Looks like you guys didn’t even have to move and the catches just kept coming. Great job!

Thanks man ! Yeah it was a lot of fun. It's always cool when your catching numbers even if a lot are small. Thank you for watching 👊

Wow Jared. Right off the start it was a biggun after biggun, cast after cast! Well done man. Crazy day! That double up was awesome!!
@reelfeelfishing6 ай бұрын
Thanks Henri ! Yeah it was a great day. Wish I had more like that when you lose track of fish. I'm happy when I catch 5+ though. Anything over 10 is a great day to me. Good times! I wish I landed the double up. Wild how that smaller one knocked off the bigger one. Cool to see though. Thanks for watching 👊

I might have been on this same river today and produced 99% less lmao good fishing man! Those smallies are incredibly strong

Thank you! Yeah it's a fun area to wade and kayak. Once you find them or find a pattern, it's go time! But man that area gets blown out when it rains bad. It's been tough this year with the rain off and on. Craws, crankbaits and swimbaits have been great there. Thank you for watching 👊

@@reelfeelfishing it was my first time wading, mostly was just focused on doing that right so the couple smallies hooked up were a bonus. But absolutely, i tried going last week and the rain brought the water level so high, I could barely fish from the bank. Thanks for the tips man! The couple I landed was on a football jig with craw trailer. Stay safe out there, and tight lines 🎣

@@DaMooks oh sweet! Yeah wading is a lot of fun. I prefer it over kayaking most of the time. Good luck out there!

Tearing them smallies up Jared! That double up was wild. We saw the big one and when you pulled it up it was the smaller one. One heck of a day smallie fishing! Great job Jared!

Thanks Stacee ! Yeah that would have been sweet to land ! Or at least I wish I could have landed the bigger one. But all in all it was a great time. Thank you for watching 👊

starting off the bat with a nice one Jared 💪 I gotta say....all those bass are eating good man! All so healthy looking. I always wonder how a fish doesn't get hooked when they hit a lure with treble hooks 🤔 Double up! What an absolutely great day on the water brother!!!
@reelfeelfishing6 ай бұрын
Thanks Chris! Yeah it was a solid day with a bunch of healthy ones. And yeah I kept getting bumped which is wild to me. It is a smaller crankbait with small trebles but still its crazy that happens. And I wish I could have landed that double. Would have been awesome ! That would have been my 3rd overall. I've been hooked into a double 4 times now in the last 3 years but only landed them twice. Always smallies cause they are so aggressive lol. Thanks for watching 👊

I have my note book ready. It is interesting to see you throwing a crank instead of a dark sleeper there. Was the bottom of the river hard or soft?
@reelfeelfishing6 ай бұрын
The bottom was a mix of both but mostly small pebbles and sand. I like a shallow diver in that situation cause it stays right above the weeds. There are a bunch of patches of weeds there so sleeper would have to go through them and this thing went right over the top. But I've used dark sleepers and sleeper craws there and they worked pretty well too. And if you slow the wakebait down even more it's a topwater lure. So it works well. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching 👊

Do you recall what date you filmed this on ?? As i'm curious about the flow rate. Thanks
@reelfeelfishing6 ай бұрын
I dont remember the exact date but it was about 3-4 weeks ago in between all the rain we were getting. Water levels were great in my opinion. Maybe the clarity could have been a little better. But then I've been there a day after it rained and it was chocolate milk and roaring. But it's always good times hopping in waders. Thanks for watching Bob ! 👊

Dude you guys were Slaying them in the river, that was great stuff. What was the name of that crank bait that you were using, if you don't mind me asking. Keep up the great content
@reelfeelfishing6 ай бұрын
Thanks man! It was good times. Always fun wading. It was a wakebait. I was using a couple different ones. Generic ones I bought from a flea market. But any wakebait will do for river stuff in my opinion. They are versatile. Slow roll and they are topwater, burn it and it goes down 6-12in and becomes a crank. Thanks for watching 👊
