River Tweed Canoe Trip in Open Boat, Canadian Canoe. Plenty of rapids and Scottish wild camping

A three-day trip on the River Tweed covering 61 miles. We encountered four or five good rapids with plenty of flow on the river. There were salmon leaping and plenty of people fishing for them, most of whom were friendly.

Cool guys! me and my mate did the tweed all the way from inerleithen to berwick over two long days, camping overnight on an island somewhere! that was in 2012 too, a vintage river year lol. Looking to do it again and your vid makes me want to be there now. Great find too.. a bmx!!

Could you do this in an inflatable sea Eagle kayak? Looks brilliant.

I guess you could but we did have a few scrapes with big boulders which is something consider. Have fun :-)
