I love what you share/teach us on our trips together. Love the new music! I have a cousin who makes a pretty good living on a tow boat in Barnegat Bay, New Jersey. He pulls the weekend boaters off of sand bars they get themselves stuck on. Sand bars are no fun unless you're making a living off of them. :)

Love the fiddle music. Love that kayaker practicing maneuvers. Love the swans, sometimes the kayaker seemed like a swan too. 🙂 Fascinating countryside up that part of the Weaver, really beautiful. I've always wanted to see the upper reaches of the Weaver. I got as far as the Winsford marina before lockdown but it was so shallow with low water levels, I could only get to within 4 or 5 feet of the edge. Having small grandchild on board and as it was getting late, we had to fly moor for the night. Your video was really interesting.

You can have a lot of fun in a smaller boat. My Aunt and Uncle had a Norman 20, they cruised all over the network in it (using a trailer to reach some of the more far flung places) The also took it on the Broads , the Lakes and once down to the Fal in Cornwall .

Hi Heidi and Bonny. I'm retired now but when I was working for the NRA to become the Environment Agency, we used to inspect the river Avon from Stratford ot Tewkesbury. The Avon navigation, on occasion we would link up with the staff from the navigation Trust and set up clearance work for the waterways traffic. Fantastic work really enjoyed it. It all ended with cuts in our revenue budget shuch a great shame. Great video gal.

What can I say that has not been said by others already, but this was one great adventure that you took us on. Thank you for sharing. Oh that boat looks like fun! We have a restaurant in my city called Bugsy’s! I love his steering wheel! What fun! We have boats like that on Lake Ontario! What beautiful scenery! Sailing down the River Weaver on a sunny day, Stopped along the river bank swans and fiddles play, On the flashes , sandbanks too, birds and geese galore, On the Weaver River shallow we go and explore, Don’t get grounded sail on swiftly around a corner you go, It’s a proper adventure sailing down through trees so slow, Oh you’re stuck in trees and branches not for long head home, A sunny day on River Weaver , a lovely place to roam. We went on ours from Venetian Marina to Stratford on Avon via the Shropie, Staff and Worcestershire, Severn, Avon and back via Stratford, BCN, down the Wolverhampton flight and Shropie again. Bonny needs to be an only dog I’m afraid as she has lots of issues with socialising …. She is fine being left for a few hours though, most people leave their dogs all day when they go to work but luckily I work from home 😃
