nicely done - I have tried this on my first embroidery piece and I used 12 strands of thread based on another video - I thought these were supposed to be kind of soft and fluffly (I separated the threads then put them back together before putting them in the needle to make them fluffy - that was a nightmare. lol) - this rose seems really tight and structured compared to the others I've seen. It seems much flatter - I'm just trying to figure this out. I don't like how my rose wheel came out because even though it seems fluffy - the "petals" aren't distinct like they are in other videos and the threads also seemed to get tangled a lot. sigh. This is nice though - very pretty - just different than others I've seen. I kinda wanna rip my threads out and start over, but already invested too much time doing it - not gonna start over. Just gonna move on to the next area of the picture.....

Did you make a knot underneath when you had to get a new thread?

Sheila Ramirez hi! For the sake of not interrupting the video I didn’t tile it off when I switched but yes normally I would have! This will prevent you from accidentally pulling on the ends while you work and potentially screwing up your previous work! Roses especially are prone to getting damaged if the floss on the backside gets pulled accidentally.
