That's so funny, because I was just about to comment that the music seems so "U.S./ country western" and has nothing to do with the heritage of Arne & Carlos.

Just saw this video today. I made these waffles for our supper tonight. I had mine with cream cheese and strawberry jam. Delicious! My husband had his with his traditional maple syrup and butter (like they needed more butter!), and he had seconds. It gave me pause to use 5 eggs during this so called egg shortage, but it was worth it. Hope you are enjoying your current cruise. I sure enjoy the cooking videos.

I just read that some people in Norway used to use leftover porridge to make Norwegian waffles. Might be a way to use up that porridge someone doesn't want to eat anymore.

A bit late to the party, but just to clarify: Brown cheese is technically not a cheese because it’s made from the whey thats reduced. And they never add syrup nor sugar. The milk sugar is enough and gives the sweetness because it’s so reduced.

@@marthablom5734 I may be wrong but go back and listen to the first of their quarantine podcast. They explain that they prerecorded a bunch of their Sunday podcasts because they were suppose to be traveling and they would release each one of those for a few weeks. The Norwegian brown cheese is made from browned whey, caramelized, real healthy, not salty according to google i am going to try get some, its appears to be easy to to buy here in the supermarkets in the USA...batter for Belgium waffles is thicker. I like crispy waffles better..here in USA, we make them thicker but dryer and crispy than Belgium waffles.

Good morning from Texas. Thank you for sharing your waffle preparations. The cheese descriptions sound very delicious. My son moved to Wisconsin a few years ago, which is 1280 miles north of my home . I was able to try some very different cheeses when I visited. I especially enjoy that your recipe includes milk, sugar and butter. So many times in the USA, people are trying to substitute products that are not naturally produced in the name of losing weight.

So happy to find your website! I am left handed and my Mom showed me how to knit, but I have been told I was doing it wrong. But watching you guys knit, it is the same way my Mom knitted. So any variations are my own fault. I like the way you knit. It goes fast.
