Love the boat chaos with poles going down everywhere. Shad Phil ays probably pretty crappy 🤯. February the blues start to turn on in the big crick round here when ice chunks clear out. So they're prolly year round down there. How'd you like them rods? Great vid and keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 💪😎🙏🏻
@RiverCertifiedКүн бұрын
I'm a fan too. Gonna head further south this week to try a different river I'm super excited about. I'm definitely missing the big crick. I'll be fishing it a lot this fall I think. I love those fishing rods. They're pricey, but the blend of soft tip and backbone is unique and I think it's awesome.

From what I am gathering, it was the white bass rather than the Asian slaw that made the tacos unpalatable? It surprises me so much that white bass are mid at best when it comes to table fare, when they are so closely related to salt water run striped bass which are absolutely great

Come to KY, we'll give you a crappie tutorial. Of course we sat on a school all day on Saturday and only caught 2. Lol It's all about deeper structure with crappie. Anywhere from 15 to 20 feet in warmer water to 20 to 40 feet in the cold. We have the most luck with minnows. But drop lining jigs works good, too. You gotta get below the Blue Gill.
@RiverCertifiedКүн бұрын
That's some good info. If I have to use minnows, I'll just go home skunked. I guess I'm a little bit of bait snob because I spend my whole life catching bait for everything else I catch haha
@ericallison4494Күн бұрын
@RiverCertified I hate to say it, but I'm responsible for the deaths of a heck of a lot of minners. You could just go to Texas and fish with TyPigPatrol. He can catch a crappie in your bathtub. Lol
