The show really went off the rails with Hiram. He derails Archie, Veronica and Hermione, especially Archie. I know Archie was detached from the Jason’s murder arc in season 1, but at least he wasn’t actively being an idiot who has sex a lot. Season 3 Hiram is cartoonish supervillainy, going to petty means to makes things worse for Archie and Veronica. He’s even got a Legion of Doom!

Omg finally I’ve found likeminded people. I’m sure that if they hadn’t just stolen all of the names from the Archie universe, this show could have been doing better. Sure, they attracted a big audience since they used the comics, but they weren’t able to keep a very big audience since the majority of the viewers were there to see some original Archie shenanigans. Season 2 and 3 are just absolute trash, I wouldn’t be surprised if a group of edgy elementary school kids managed to somehow hijack the script or something. Everything’s so messed up and you can tell that they’re trying to do so many things at once but failing miserably. I can understand why people like this show, but I feel like this is going to be the next twilight. In a few years we’ll be asking ourselves why we were ever into this trash with the amount of bad writing and undeveloped plot.
