‘Rivers of Blood’ speech, 50 years on: The truth behind the photo | ITV News

Enoch Powell was famous for his notorious rivers of blood speech but his anti-immigration rhetoric had started much earlier. During a speech at Walsall Town Hall in February 1968 he claimed there was only one white child in the class in a school in Wolverhampton. West Park Primary school came under the media spotlight and a picture of 2 boys, one white and one black, was published to illustrate his point. Balvinder Sidhu has been uncovering the truth behind that picture.
