suhyun has one of the best voices in the industry in my opinion along with lee hi they are very distinguished, clear and powerful at the same time, chanhyuk composes and writes every single song they release while suhyun has developed her lyricist skills during this hiatus that her brother was in the army, she also makes a lot of the melodies of the songs and what i love about them is that chankyuk allows suhyun to be in the spotlight in majority of the songs without overshadowing he says he loves her voice and she is very good in conveying the emotions he feels while making music

AKMU are Korea's hidden gem. They joined a competition that the big three companies held (yg,sm,jyp) in which the winners get to be selected in their companies and trained for debut. They won the competition by singing their own written songs almost very round ( I think the last round they covered one song ?) . Most people don't know that the songs they released after they debuted were composed by themselves when they were in the competition and they were just kids ! Like I think they were 14-15? The brother writes and produces the song . They are a singer-songwriter duo and their lyrics have always been meaningful. The song dinasour that you reacted to was about how as a family they were poor and had to constantly run away or hide from loan sharks. They're just a joy to listen to! Also please react to Mamamoo immortal song medley. It's mind-blowing.

Thank you guys for reacting to them. This is not even the tip of the iceberg. I don't seriously follow AKMU but I know this for a fact, this duo is super, super talented and they have great music. Fans have commented that the guy is a multi instrumentalist and the one who composes their songs, while the girl has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard.

I’m so glad you guys reacted to this song! I love so many of their songs but I would say this is still my absolute favorite of them. And also I’m so glad you guys praised Chan Hyuk’s voice and technique ‘cause a lot of people don’t really get how freaking amazing he is. I honestly don’t have a favorite between the two, to me the magic of AKMU is literally the harmony between their voices which is pure perfection!!! They have REAL talent ❤️

I absolutely love Akmu! Beautiful voices and beautiful music all around For the next season, would you please check out the rookie group from this year, Trei? Trei is a male trio and their main vocalist Kim Juntae has a beautiful and powerful voice! He actually sang vocal guides for BTOB (vocal kings) and Pentagon! I really recommend their song Gravity (warning: the mv is low budget cause they are from a small company) and their cover of Night Rather Than Day by their older sister group EXID. The youngest member Changhyun produces all of their music and actually wrote Night Rather Than Day! Thank you!

I dare you watch this and try not to cry. You'll fail. Turn ON CC, it is subbed in like 15 languages. IT IS MUST SEE VIDEO. About their singing, just some stuff: In their earlier days, during Kpop Star and after debut, people talked alot about Suhyun's amazing vocals, which is true, but it always made me sad that Chanhyuk wasn't getting as much recognision as he deserved. He, as you said, was jumping all around with those right harmonies, composing all their songs, rapping, singing, but it seems like he was a bit in a shadow. He wasn't that confident in singing and used rap more. But he has actually really good voice. It's nice to see that in recent few albums he started singing more. And especially, in last one. His voice became so much stronger (I was shocked when after military they sang on KB live and I was like omg here is our boy, so confident and his voice so firm ) and I'm happy he is more comfortable now and he blends so well with Suhuyn. That's given. That is just part of AKMU's magic. About song: Hope you'll read lyrics before reacting to the their other songs next time, cuz lyrics are really important, especially this one.
