Riverview Carousel at night - Six Flags over Georgia

Carousel #17 by the Philadelphia Tobbogan Company was originally built for Riverview Park in Chicago in 1908. A very rare five-abrest carousel it was in storage for years, purchased by Six Flags and re-opened in 1972.

Having ridden this ride at Riverview Park in Chicago...I was so happy to hear it was restored and still an attraction...If I ever get to Georgia...I intend to ride it again...I was a little kid back and horse crazy...still am... so excited to know something from Riverview survived all these years!!!!!! Happy Days back then...lots of fun...
