This artist is one of the reasons my wife and I started going to Church to put Christ in our life 1 year ago. First song I heard was Depression, followed by a rabbit hole of songs. His lyrics and powerful, and his videos spoke directly to me. I’ve always known that God exists. But always thought that was enough, while putting my faith in man and myself. My anger through Covid, through watching what is happening to society, was tearing me apart, and made me realize that my faith in man and myself was unfounded. me. I was in my season (1 year) of depression and anxiety that led to crippling anxiety with unwanted dark thoughts along with bad habits. I was struggling as man, friend, family member and husband. Nobody could’ve healed me. I seeked help from therapy, philosophy, working out, etc but all of that was just a bandaid. I gave up and leaned on God. He carried my cross for me when I couldn’t anymore. I surrendered myself to him then I woke one day feeling fresh-like a new. I breathed in air like I never did before and was finally immersed into this world. It was just black and white to me, but I finally see the beauty and colors of life. God answered my prayers and gave me more than I can ask for. I now believe that he put me in my situation to see myself, my past and to shape my heart, and character. I will never forget what he has done for me. He saved my life, marriage and friendship.

All these things that are said, written, and done in the bible have been seen by thousands or people, it's lasted for thousands of years. Faith isnt a physical thing much like say certain elements within science. God holds back many rotten things that happen, and the things that do happen to us are tests for your faith. What God wants is to see if you will continue seeking his aid or will you abandon his side and stray away? Honestly I don't believe God cares what words come out of your mouth when you talk to him, he just cares that you came to him to talk. When a child goes to their father to talk about what they're going through or how they feel I don't think they get upset over the choice of the words you use he wants you to speak freely with authenticity and without fear of him not hearing the message being relayed because of the words or vulgarity. God wants to hear anything and everything his children have to say.

God knows who you are when you are all alone in the dark when no one else is around. We all try to pretend we aren't that person that he knows. The hardest struggle I've faced was coming to terms with the person I've become through the lessons God has put before me. I have been struggling for so long. I adopted the Norse beliefs because Christians i knew were just rotten, but i have ALWAYS believed in Jesus Christ, no matter what i have said out of my mouth. In my soul i NEVER LET GO of Jesus. Dax, brought me back to God. This song could have been plucked right out of my heart and soul because this would be my letter to God. But i know that this is NOT Gods world. The devil owns this place. I believe that we are here for a journey of education and love. We are being prepared to truly recognize the immense and powerful Love and is God. Some people follow religion right to hell by misappropriating things that just aren't in the book. @@HurryUpBruh I'm sorry but there will never be a time where i would ever be a part of a religion where their main prophet (who lived hundreds of years after Jesus Christ) married and had sex with a 9 year old girl, and their idea of the afterlife is being given virgins. Anyone who chooses to ignore those facts are people of whom i want nothing to do with. I don't hate anyone who follows Islam. But its just not for me and i believe it is well beyond being a false religion. Once religion was put forth, that is when people started fighting and slaughtering each other in the name of God and to think that God would want us to kill each other in his name is pretty audacious. I am not Christian because most, if not all Christians are hypocrites and they don't follow their own advice. They will preach the bible but then go out in the parking lot after church and curse people out for parking in their spot. But, Out of all religions, by far the worst one is anyone who follows Islam. The main prophet in the Islamic faith married and had sex with a 9 year old girl, and people are supposed to magically think that is ok. That prophet also came along hundreds of years after Jesus Christ. I find it disgusting that one of the rewards for following Islam when someone dies is that they are given virgins, like they are cattle. But i am not just narrowing down the morally reprehensibility to just Islam. Catholicism is right up there as well. I disagree with having some old man as the supreme leader of a religion like he is some kind of figure to be worshiped when the bible states that no man is innocent, no not one. The Vatican purposely withholds documents that they deem as blasphemous. They keep things locked up because those things don't go by their narrative. All in all i think the fighting between religions, the persecution behind religions, and the morally reprehensible acts carried out in the name of religions is wrong on so many levels. I choose love and nothing less. I do believe Jesus Christ was God in the flesh and that He came here to teach us and He died on the cross for all for our sins. All of these things are my opinions and i realize that some of them may be wrong. But despite my opinions, i do not judge anyone. Someone's faith or how they worship does not keep me from becoming friends with those people. I just have strong opinions that i admit may not be popular to some, but that is the great thing about humanity. We can disagree and debate and still be civil. Its when we stop talking that violence takes over. I don't hate anyone and i choose to love instead.

I entertained Norse belief due to it being my heritage (checked out many religions), but always loved and believed in Jesus. There are so many directions you get pulled in that my head was spinning, until I fell apart and begged him to point me in the right direction. I am a follower of Christ but go to no church (we are the church), not sure I like the term Christian the way it 's been warped, read the KJV, and have long talks with him about everything. She never did. So I went inside to find her. When I did, she handed me a baby girl(red hair and blue eyes). My wife and I don’t have red hair or blue eyes. I woke up and sat up really fast. My wife wakes up and asks me if I’m ok. I tell her about the dream. Two weeks later she tells me she’s pregnant. I tell her it’s going to be a girl with red hair and Blue eyes. Several doctor visits later. Miscarriage. We’re devastated. After other attempts, she became pregnant again. I never left the idea that it would be a girl with red hair and blue eyes. Today, I wake up to a 6 year old girl every morning that has red hair and blue eyes. Was my dream just a coincidence? Or was it God sending me a sign in my dreams as he did with Jacob in the Bible? I don’t know. I would just say, don’t give up. Everything will work out when it’s the right time. Hang in there. Don’t push too hard for anything to happen and just let things come as they do. I do hope your housing situation gets better. There are good people out there(Christian and nonbelievers) that are willing to help you. Don’t give up.

Pastor is spot on.This is why I started feeling conflicted later on about this song. God knows our heart. When you truly seek him he reveals himself to you. Because what this song is, is how I used to feel. I can't stress enough about how many times I'm talking to God and open the new testament randomly and Jesus is saying what I was talking to God about. 🤯 Realizing another thing the pastor said about how it's misinterpreted by people who don't truly seek for themselves. Which made me think the same way Dax talks about in this song.
