Okay Kyle, I get you want to push content out super fast, but I think you would have been fine to film footage for the points you want to cover and just some b-roll, then wait for your voice to comeback around, do a sitdown chat video dropping in footage as you hit various points. Yes, it would take more time, but it would probably have better shelf life and more appeal. For me, I was distracted by the strained voice. Protect your health, that is most important. Just consider grabbing footage and doing a video later when your voice is better. You have a great brand and have been building a ton of content. Keep up the great work, remember to give yourself a break every now and then to protect your health.

13:55 believe gen1 has two cameras in mirror. What was pointed to as 3rd camera on underneath is the light which projects Rivian logo down onto the ground and illuminates side of vehicle at night. Just the forward facing and side view cameras.

I would imagine that the rear door emergency release might be hidden because you wouldn't be able to disable it if kids were in the back. Most (4 door) vehicles have rear door lockouts to keep the passengers from opening the rear doors. Effectively child locks. Just a guess.

Hate to give critical feedback, but this 38 minutes of ADHD bouncing all around the vehicle with a weird voice behind the camera was super hard to watch and I gave up after scrubbing through the first half. A more thought out, scripted video where you hit all the exterior items in a sensible order, then move to the inside would have been much better.

I think they need to work on service. I bought a brand new r1s three months ago and it’s still in service for a front sensor error they haven’t fixed. I wonder if I’m unlucky or this happens more than is being reported.

Its 100% a mid cycle refresh. Rivian soley calls its gen 2 because its easier to market and sell it like that. Cmon guys use your brain dont get fooled by marketing of all things. I mean check out the Sonata refresh vs pre facelift. Looked extremely different. Same thing with the S197 gen mustang which the 2014 model looked like a different generation compared to the 05 model when it first released. Actually the 2020 Santa Fe to the 2021 Santa Fe was called a "refresh" by Hyundai even though it rode on a all new platform, had different body panels, completely different inteior, all new engine and transmissions, added hybrid models, etc. So if thats a refresh the Gen 2 Rivian is also a refresh. I mean the platform is the same, the exterior and inteior look almost identical, and the battery/motors used are mostly the same.

Users perceived of value depends on just that: your values. Personally, I value camera quality more than anything else on a car. If I can back up in a crowded parking lot with confidence, that's worth a TON to me. I'd take some shittier door quality for better cameras.
