The noise is "normal". The truck was probably sleeping and it detected your phone (key) nearby and it's anticipating you getting in and driving. Even with gear guard on, I notice it only using up 1% energy loss in a 24 hour period. Compared to my Tesla with sentry mode on, it loses somewhere around 7%. Fun video. It's cool to see people's impressions after taking home their EV.

Do you mind me asking the exact spec that you got and how much did you pay out the door? That’s my favorite color . I love the deep dive and I can’t wait to get mine. I currently have a Kia Ev6 and I love it to pieces so I might just have to get both.
